I find sometimes that I cry at the drop of a hat (commercials, when I get called on in class, etc.) -- but when I get into a high emotion situation, I actually am a lot more composed. Maybe you'll be that way too!
Aww! You know, I thought I was going to be a complete waterworks at my wedding. Every time I heard canon in D for the month leading up to my wedding I was in tears. On the actual day, I was very teary/misty right after I got ready, when I walked down the aisle, when we said our vows, and when I danced with my dad. But, I made a conscious effort to not allow myself to "go there." Everytime I thought I was going to realllly cry, I just started smiling instead. It worked (mostly). Good luck : )
O man, its ok to cry, your happy, I couldn't even say my vows, I whispered everything... my sister said it sounded like I was just saying ssss after a long period of silence.
Aww, that is so sweet! I'm with you, anything emotional and wedding related seems to get me. If you want to combat it, try to smile--I've heard a study that your face's expression actually can affect your mood. Although, if they're happy tears, I suppose a smile won't really help, and who wants to look angry? :) Just embrace it, you're so allowed to be emotional with this stuff!
That's hilariously cute. Awwww. That just makes me so excited for the little things like going to get the marriage license! Which when you stop and think about it, is really one of the bigger things that I'd rather not forget to do...
That is really sweet and I bet it really touched your FI. I got a little choked up in the office to sign up to get our marriage liscence but no tears. It's weird how these little things all of a sudden hit you. I think I was so teary on my wedding day because I hadn't really taken time to let it hit me and then when it did - ah well, it wasn't too bad and people for the most part seemed to be like aww she really likes her FI.
Aww! If it makes you feel any better, I almost broke into tears the first time we met with our officiant and we were going over the ceremony. :)
That is very cute :-) And as someone else pointed out, I bet your fiance really felt special and loved it!
I cried at the drop of a hat leading up the the wedding. I'm not a crier so it was really bothering me!!
Never in a million years would I have thought I'd cry at my wedding. I got a bit choked up during the vows but managed to pull myself together and finish them. When I felt myself start to choke up I was stressing out that I'd start to bawl and be really embarrassed. I can't remember what happened but either the priest or my husband did something to make me laugh and that's what helped me pull myself together!
Now I still cry at stupid stuff but not as bad as right before the wedding.
awwe I'm sure I'll be a waterworks on my big day!! but I didn't even consider the clerks office ;) that is so cute
Maybe if you let yourself cry beforehand, it won't be so bad the day of. If you bottle up those tears, it's sure to be waterworks during the ceremony :)
Hey Jelly Bean! Congrats and I hope your wedding is wonderful and all you want it to be!
We are going to get our marriage license the week after next - I wonder if I'll cry too! lol
Awww...I think it's sweet, too. Don't worry, I will probably cry also. ha! CONGRATS!
That is sooo sweet!! I think its just a natural reaction. Weddings are life changing events...there is a lot that goes into them..that alone I think makes us more susceptable to our emotions, but don't be embarrased to show them..your man will prob. be bawling his eyes out on the day of too..hehe:)
It is my favoritest when the couples are emotional. I love seeing all the blubbering i think it means they truly love each.
That's amazing and sweet. :) I know that I'll do the same thing!!
I cry. All the time.
I am working extra hard to prep myself to be one of those confident, gorgeous, happy brides who doesnt slobber all over herself through the ceremony.
SO and I had a marriage talk today and I called my best friend to tell her about it. I had these flashes in my mind of trying on dresses with my best friend and walking down the aisle and seeing the look on his face and I started crying! lol, even though we're not even engaged and probably won't be for another year.
I cry allll the time. I'm just so happy I squirt tears like it's the cool thing to do. :) I'll probably cry then, too!

...at the clerk's office yesterday. We went to pick up our marriage license. When she had us raise our right hands to attest to the license information being true, I started crying. WHO DOES THAT?? Oh my goodness. I was so embarrassed.
I was actually hoping to psych myself out of crying at the wedding, but if I'm crying at the lady behind the plexiglass who asks if we could affirm we haven't lied on an application, that's sad, people.
