@BeeinBoston:

That’s wonderful! How sweet of your fiance!

I posted about this as an update in another thread, but it is worth mentioning again. Earlier, I was complaining about my pimples and I told my husband that I wanted to go to the store and buy some face masks. My skin is breaking out due to my period.

He kissed me and said:”Baby, you look beautiful.” I nearly fainted from the romance and tenderness. It was such a small gesture but I felt so loved and accepted by my husband’s words and passionate kisses.

I suffered from food poisoning last week. It was the dangerous kind and I had never, in my life been even half as sick as I was last week… My beautiful FI took amazing care of me. He cleaned up after if been sick in a bucket, showered me, changed the sheets when I sweet through, took time off work to monitor my fever (hospital didn’t have enough beds to keep me there!), fed me drops of water.. You name it, he did it, including looking after all our normal household responsibilities and the puppies. He’s amazing.

So sweet! When my husband does similar things for me, I want to weep with gratitude.

@PositiveThinking:  me too, I feel so grateful for everything he did.

@BeeinBoston:  aw, it’s sweet that it started with him taking care of you. I love that we’ve seen each other at our worst, it makes me feel closer.

If my husband sees me falling asleep on the couch after an early start, he’ll pull a blanket over me, kiss me and let me sleep. When I wake up, if he isn’t at work, dinner will be ready for me. If he is at work, he’s gotten everything ready for me to cook dinner myself, or there’s money for me to order a pizza. I love him.

@Brooke1226:

You know your man loves you when he cleans up your vomit. I was weeping with shame after a surgery I had last summer, because the painkillers made me throw up on the bedroom floor. My husband told me it was just a little vomit and not to feel bad. Then he cleaned it up and asked me to rest again.

@BeeinBoston:  Our power was out all night and it was freezing. DH got our fire going and got up every hour to stoke the fire and add a log and make sure I was warm enough.

@BeeinBoston:  How sweet!

My DH started my car this morning so it would be nice and toasty for my commute to work.

How super sweet of your FI!

My SO starts my car everyday so it’s warm when I leave for work. It’s a small gesture but when it’s -15 degrees out every second of it warming up is much appreciated!
