Ok seriously…I am three weeks out from my wedding and seriously even just thinking about moments makes me a cry baby, so needless to say I am feeling like I am doomed on my wedding day. I am going to have to find the most extra-strength waterproof make-up that has ever been created. Any of you emotional ladies have any good tips to keep yourself from balling like a baby the whole time? haha I am totally serious with this question!

Try clearing your throat. It forces you to swallow and it presses your tongue to the roof of your mouth. It interrupts the whole neural pathway that tells your brain to cry.

@stacypaigepiper: I read how many brides (on this site anyway) also are crybabies but managed to keep it together for the wedding.
Thinking about something and actually doing it are two different things.
You might be so excited/anxious/nervous that you don’t even feel like crying.

@stacypaigepiper: I’m the same. My mom showed me some decorations and started organizing everything and I got all sniffly. But I get so nervous around people and being center of attention I feel like I’m going to cry mainly because I’m nervous. Our wedding is like 350 people. OMG I might cry now…

Well, my wedding was yesterday and (surprise, surprise) I managed to keep it together! I only started crying when I called my grandparents who couldn’t make it and my grandfather started crying on the phone.
