Hi! I'm a June 5th bride, so we're weekend twins. 
I think you totally should make a slideshow if you really want one. It's really easy... I made one using Photo Story 3 for Windows.
My FI and I are surprisingly calm during these final days. But I'm with your FI in that I can't wait till the ceremony part is over. I get major butterflies just thinking about all the EYES ON ME!! 
WEll its not my wedding on Saturday but I am going to one!! Hurry up September for me!! Congrats! Enjoy your day dont stress!!

Yay! Congrats..all of this planning boiling down to days! If you want to do the slide show do it, but if your stressed, don't worry about it..have a great wedding!

I'm almost there too! It seems strange to think about. My FI and I were walking in the park this afternoon and it just felt stange saying it was only 18 days away, it doesn't feel real yet.
I keep thinking of all the things I wish I could of done too, like a slideshow. If you have the time to do it, maybe you should. Your family especially will enjoy it. I just don't have it in me to add another task to the list!

I just wrapped up a LONG day of wedding planning.
After spending all day yesterday working on the seating chart, today we decide we should do a head table instead of just a sweet heart table. So we spend HOURS today discussing how to redo the room layout to accomodate and redo the seating chart as well.
We also ran through the menus for Friday Rehearsal and Sunday Brunch. Lots of food to be arranged.
We also worked on mock ups of the entrance tables. We are going to do three tables, one for escort cards (I assume 140 escort cards the normal size will take up most of an 8" rectangle table?), one for gifts and cards (I love my birdcage!), and one for the guest book for people to sign. My sister had a great idea to put the guest book on a high cocktail table so people don't have to bend over to sign the book and it takes up less space. Great idea Little BM!
Tomorrow is my hair and make up trial and my meeting with my florist. A lot will be decided tomorrow. I can't wait to come back and post about it.
daniellealys By the way, I have some family coming down from that part of Indiana for the wedding! They are driving 2 cars with 8 people down to Florida. They are spending this week at the beach, coming to the wedding and then going home.
@daniellealys Congrats girl! We've been through so much wedding planning. I'm so excited for you that this is your wedding week and then you get married! That's so amazing!
If you have a big tv in your reception hall to make a slide show I don't see why not. It will be a huge task tho. So it's really up to you.
I know there are a lot of things I would do if I would have had more money.
What are you doing for favors?
caszos-cool! indiana to florida is a long drive! we always fly tp florida..screw it! ha. thats pretty cool they are traveling so far for you wedding! Great idea with the high table! love it! congrats :)
thefuturemrsgibbs-i am so excited! we have been threw a lot :) My favours are organza bags with jordan almonds and thank you silver tags and small personalized candles and candle holders with silver thank you tags! we ended up spending more than we should. those almonds are expensive! :) what did you finally decide on?

i just cant believe it is almost here. last night FI and I were laying in bed (dont worry it is NOT about to get R rated) and he said "honestly, I cant wait until the ceremony is over" ahahaaha! he said he is really nervous about it :) It is good to know that i am not the only one who is a little nervous. I am a trainer at work so i am used to being in front of a large group of people (sometimes i am doing presentations in front of 100 ppl!). But...this is a little different! :)
I said " I cant wait until cake cutting because that means that all the nerve racking stuff is over...and i finally get to eat some cake!" ahaha...he thought that was pretty funny.
Honestly, i keep thinking of really cool stuff i could have done for the wedding if i would have thought of it months ago. like i am upset i did not gather pics of us as kids and scan them in and do a slideshow. i guess it is not too late but not sure i want to add another task right now..but it might be worth it. what do you ladies think?
I would love to hear the thoughts of the next weekend brides..or any brides for that matter :)
