Jizes:
I had so much trouble with this that i have decided not to wear mine, and go without one all together. It honestly depresses me to think about it...I love the look...But FI only had one request about how I look on our wedding day...He wanted my hair to be down. I thought that a birdcage would be the solution, but I've tried every way that I can think of, and they all look weird. Not near as "dreamy" as they do in other people's pictures. Lots of people that i saw pictures of did pull their hair back into a clip or something, not something I wanted to do. I felt goofy the whole time I had it on. Sorry I'm not much help to you. I've got 3 more days til my wedding, so I'm going to be checking back on this post often to see of any great ideas...Best of luck to you!
hair dresser might have some ideas, check with them at the trial or something before tossing the idea
I haven't ordered mine yet- but check out birdcageveils.com. The one I'm getting will be trimmed to stop just around my nose. They have videos on there showing how to put it on. I'm pretty sure you just pin it. Or, if you're having your hair done, your hairstylist should know how to do it for you.
I am having the same predicament. FI's only request is that I wear my hair either all down, or half-up half down for the wedding. Miss Riley posted the following pic when I had asked your same question a few months ago:
Thanks! Well I have seen hairdressers ideas and they did look goofy on me as well! My fiances only requests is my hair down or half way and I am putting in a headband... I truly have no idea what to do. This is so sad. I really wanted to wear mine too! Davids bridal said they will alter it for me but I have no idea what to tell them LOL

I bought a birdcage veil. I obviously want to get it altered a lit bit so its not so bushy. I am having my hair some up and some down and I can not figure out how to wear it with a birdcage veil. I think i dont want it covering my whole face... I want it to stop before my lips. Is anyone wearing one and with some of their hear down? Anyone have any pictures? I keep searching the wed but so many have their hair up or the veils have too much material.
