My wedding dress is Maggie Sottero ‘acapulco’ in diamond white. http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com/pr/Maggie-Sottero-Acapulco/42565
Everything so far has been quite easy to plan as we are having a summer destination wedding but I have been searching for weeks online and can’t find any bouquets that I like or that I think would go with my dress.
I wanted my bouquet colours to be (ice or turqoise) blue and silver with maybe some green but it seems the colour and look of flowers I like just don’t exist and can look a bit dull which would be a shame for a summer wedding. I have seen alot of purple ones that are nice and I do want purple to be a colour of my wedding but it really doesn’t suit me so I am not keen to have it as a colour in my bouquet.
White flowers is an option that I like but I have heard it could look my dress look dirty or just blend into my dress in photos. I really am just clueless about flowers and don’t know what would go with my dress. I am not keen on silk flowers and have looked at flower alternatives liked bouded bouquets but the ones I like are far too expensive.
If anyone could give me any advice on what colour/flowers/shape/type of bouquet would go with my dress I would really, really appreciate it. Thanks

@yorkiemad00: Thanks, they are the main flowers that I am considering but I am not sure whether they go well with my dress or whether they look ok on their own or not. I like this bouquet (the first photo in the page) http://vtcountryflowers.blogspot.co.uk/2010/06/memorial-day-weekend-wedding.html but I am just not sure with my dress, maybe a bit too much?

@tails: They are lovely. I would go for them. I don’t think there is a ‘too much’ with weddings.
You could upload the pictures and add a poll to see what other bees think.

Do any of these choices fit your scheme?
As far as silver/grey, they really didn’t have anything, but I wouldn’t use flowers for this. I might use silver jewelry (brooches, rhinestones, etc.) or non-flower items painted silver. You could do glitter or shimmer on top to make them sparkle, or a coating of sugar crystals on top for sparkle?.
As for the white making your dress look yellow, yes, some flowers are not pure white and do tend to have either a creamy or or green tinge to them. Some flowers, though, are REALLY white, particularly some ‘exotic’ or ‘tropical’ flowers. Start here and notice the difference between them:
Lilies, orchids, tuberoses, carnations, bouvardia, pure white hydrangeas, Sweet William, Casablanca lilies, and Stephanotis in particular (off the top of my head) are VERY white blossoms that would likely be just fine with your Diamond White dress. The Stephanotis, for instance, has super-white blossoms with no green or cream in them (at least, the ones I’ve seen).
