Oh wow! i think it looks amazing!! I too second thought my dress but I do love it!..
"simple" is not a word I would use to describe that dress! It's fun, and I love it.
Not simple and not cheap looking at all! It's beautiful! Can you tell us a little about your wedding? Maybe thinking about how your dress will fit with your overall idea of the wedding will help...
I really liked it when I tried it on but ever since i have had second thoughts...My wedding is going to be traditional in a catholic church, and in an amzing venu with regal chandeliers...but we are taking pictures in gardens and such and I wanted to be very soft and pretty not overly done, thats why I fell in love with it but now, I dont know.
these are the shoes I just bought..what do you think, do they go together?
this is me in the sample dress
I do not think your dress is simple at all, it's beautiful! The bottom really adds some pizzaz!
I really like it! I think it looks very romantic and beautiful. Definitely stick with it!
I don't think it's too simple at all. I have a ruffly dress too, so maybe I'm biased, but I love adding detail with fabric and texture more than with tons of beading. But if you really want to add something, you could add a great brooch in the front/side where the ruffles come together (I can't tell if yours still has that flower in there, but I think it would look great to have a brooch in the middle of the flower) or in the back where the buttons end. The torso is long enough that you could possibly add a belt or sash too/instead.
Simple and cheap is not what I would call your dress. I think it's beautiful and it looks stunning on you! I'm not sure why you're having second thoughts other than your thoughts on the appearance but I must say, I'd rock it if I had the chance. Honestly, it's gorgeous!
I think your dress is beautiful! Very romantic - I bet it flows really nicely when you walk too - i love that!
I could see how you might question whether this will fit with the grandeur of a traditional church wedding, but I think you described it perfectly for garden pictures that are softly pretty but not overdone. Those are, to me, competing aesthetics, and short of changing dresses, I am not sure that you could necessarily accomplish both as completely as you may like. That being said, I do not see anything wrong with this for a traditional church wedding. It is a beautiful dress that really flatters your figure. You have to go with what makes you feel the most comfortable and beautiful on your wedding day, but so far, I don't think you made a bad choice! Also, those shoes will add a nice pop.
Where did you come up with those adjectives to describe your dress? Did just pull random words from a bag? Your dress is soooooo not any of the above. I think it's a great dress and you look so beautiful in it!
Your dress is not simple...it's stunning! You probably are associating the fabric being organza as being more simple or not as expensive as the other fabrics...because it is lightweight. But your dress is gorgeous and it probably doesn't weigh a lot, good for you! Best of everything...Allure makes beautiful gowns, definitely not cheap ones.
I felt like that about mine because it's simple and really shiny, so I felt like it looked cheap (it was definitely inexpensive) and I wish I would have gotten something more "out there". But I always remember the day I put it on.
I didn't want to take it off! After trying on so many dresses that were not the one, I just KNEW it was. And regardless, my man will adore me in it :) As will yours.
Switch up your accessories if you need some oomph. I bought a $400 necklace. That made me feel better. :)
YOURS is GORGEOUS, by the way, doesn't look cheap at all!
I think everyone has second guessed their dress at some point. Use bees always worry about everything being right/perfect/how we envisioned. I think your dress is GORGEOUS and I'm sure you will be in it. I do think though that if you are going to feel uncomfortable and it would make you feel better to try other dresses, then go for it! This is your one day, and to me one of the important things is to feel beautiful. If you are really second guessing it then do what makes you happy!!!
O wow, I really like it! And I dont think it looks cheap at all, very pretty!!!!
I would say that yes it is very simple, i like more bling, but it doesnt look "cheap" by any means.
Thanks guys you made me feel a lot better! I do love it because its so simple and elegant at the same time, very romantic I think....My mom is more of a bling girl and so she is the one that made me second guess myself! I had a quinceanera and I had enough of the big puffy blingy stuffy dress...
Your dress is definitely not simple and cheap looking. I think it looks gorgeous.
I think the dress is beautiful, definitely not simple and cheap looking!
Awww! I got goosebumps when I first saw the pics :) It looks amaaazing and even better on your beautiful figure :) Dont listen to mother too much...because its you and your FI's vision....and I really think that you hit the nail on the head with not wanting to go overboard with beading and such...you are going to be so gorgeous and its a FUN dress that will look stunning :) Congrats girl!
I think your dress is gorgeous. I think it suits both a church wedding and garden pictures. Those shoes look amazing too. The dress is gorgeous on the model and even more gorgeous on you!
i'm also a ruffly dress bride and i think the dresses are absolutley stunning. cheap? take a look at the Academy Awards this year...TONS of ruffles and texture with fabric! and we all know those dresses are not cheap and nor do they look cheap!
it's stunning. seriously.
Can you guys tell me nice things about my dress again? These second thoughts wont leave my head and being a two dress bride is so not an option, plus I know once I try it on again I will love it again....but I need a little encouragement AGAIN!!! sorry for being a baby :)
