I think its totally normal and understandable - most people only get one dress and you want it to be THE dress! Which dress did you end up with? I love Maggie Sottero! If you ordered a size too big dont worry, you can alter it down. Plus if it has a corset back, you dont have to do much alterations!
I was realllly nervous about the size of my Maggie too. I convinced myself that even though they measured me at a 2, that there was NO way that was right, and I wasn't going to fit in my dress! I ordered a 4, and still worried. Low and behold, my dress came in last month and fits wonderfully... it's a tad big at the bust but that's nothing that can't be fixed :)

I totally second guessed my dress until i went out dress shopping just to play dress up, and i realized how much i love my dress now!
I did order a maggie dress! I tried on a 10 (too small, but fit over my hips) and a 14 (too big and sat below my hips) so today I placed an order for a size 12! I am so worried about the size though I did discuss my concerns with a woman from the shop and she reassured me that dresses can be altered (let out to some degree) and I could always wear something to "smooth" like spanx ...
I ordered the Carrie too! I measured at a 12 (borderline 12/14 at the hips) but I did try on the 14 and it was too big (the corset laced straight down because the sides were touching). Am I crazy to have ordered a 12?
I ordered my gown about 2 months ago and occasionally I wane about it, but then i visit her online and all my fears are dispelled.

I began wedding gown shopping about 6 weeks ago and found a dress I really loved by Maggie Sottero, but it was too small - went to a different bridal shop, tried it on again - and I loved it (still) - the third time I went back (with my mother and mother-in-law to be) they had sold the sample - but I went ahead and committed anyway, but held up the process obcessing about color and size -
I finally ordered and now I am second guessing the size -
Is it normal to be so nervous about committing to the dress?!?!
