MAKE SURE YOU SET YOUR ALARM TO THE LOUDEST SETTING POSSIBLE.
I OVERSLEPT on the MOST PLANNED OUT DAY OF MY ENTIRE LIFE! A month of 3-4 hours of sleep a night finally got to me and I didn’t hear my alarm at all!! I ended up being 30 minutes late to my ceremony. Luckily a friend booked us a 2 night stay at a hotel a block away from the church, if not I would of been even later!
To all you ladies who have yet to get married… word of advise– SMILE THE ENTIRE DAY! I was so annoyed that my hair looked like crap and that they played the wrong song for us to walk in that the few pics people snapped of me outside of the church made me look like a true bridezilla!! (SO REGRET THAT!)
IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG, JUST REMEMBER THAT NO ONE ELSE KNOWS WHAT WAS PLANNED SO JUST GO WITH IT. DON’T LET IT GET TO YOU.
Once I walked in— All the frustration melted away! After the ceremony was over, the officiant asked for the marriage licence and the remainding balance we owed him. BOTH were left at the hotel. Lol. He was great about it! He completely understood, my mom paid him and he waited for my best friend to bring the licence.
MAKE SURE YOU GET PLENTY OF PICTURES!! I WISH We would have taken more time to do more outdoor shots but it was SUPER HOT and I just wanted to get out of there. (Regretting that too!)
By the time the reception got underway I was more relaxed. So much I forgot to retouch my make up and all the dancing made me sweat. Most of the pics I’ve seen from my guests you can see how shiny my face was because of the sweat! Why didn’t anyone tell me?? Not cute at all!
Besides that.. Everything went great and I couldn’t be HAPPIER! 🙂
