oh my gosh! im sooo sorry! i have only used zappos like 3 times... but i have always had a great experience! have you tried endless.com?? wow!! at least you can always ship them right back :)
I'm sorry you had to deal with that! If I were you, I'd contact Zappos and explain what you went through. They really do care about their customers, and I'm sure they'll try and make it right. Who knows, maybe you could get a free pair of shoes out of the deal ;)
I would contact them. They really are great usually, I'm sure they will do whatever they can to make it right for you.
I've used them a few times and never had a problem with them. I'd just send them back. You don't have to pay for the return shipping and you can get your money back. I'd just call them and let them know of the condition

I've ordered from Zappos several times and always been happy with them.
Remember, they don't make the shoes and don't control the quality. That's the shoe manufacturer's fault if the shoes were of poor quality.
By the way, Zappos always ships "overnight shipping" (at least whenever I've used it they have). So that wasn't an "upgrade". But also keep in mind that they can't control what UPS/FedEx does.
I have only ordered from Zappo's once. I ordered a pair of men's slippers as a Christmas gift. They were of such poor quality that I have not tried Zappo's since. I did return them without any problem, but I expected better quality for the price.

But Zappos didn't make them. I'd be disappopinted in whatever the brand-name was, not Zappos. And they don't really set prices either, they go by the suggested retail price just like all the other stores do.
I LOVE Zappos!!!! You can't blame them for the quality I don't think since they sell a lot of different brands. In terms of service thought they are beyond awesome!
I just emailed them to let them know. I'm not knocking them, I'm sure this is just a fluke! I'm just so disappointed b/c I was so excited about these shoes.
I love Zappos (and Endless) and order from them all the time. I'm sorry you had a bad experience but remember it's not their fault that the shoe was poor quality. I would definitely contact their customer service and notify them of the problem.
That's disappointing. I ordered my wedding shoes through myglassslipper.com, and had a great experience with them.
Weird! I must have ordered 30 pairs of shoes from them, never had anything but great experiences. They upgrade me to free overnight shipping at least 80% of the time. Sometimes it's on my doorstep less than 24 hours after I order. I've also returned a lot of shoes that just didn't fit or whatever and I've never had any issue with getting a quick refund.
There is the quality issue (which is probably due to the manufacturer, unless you think they sent you a worn pair someone returned), vs. the service issue. They are known for great service, I'm sure they'll try to make it right if you complain.
I got those same shoes in Champagne! I'm still debating whether or not to keep them, but my experience has been good. I'm glad I have a year to decide if I like them! They quality and condition of the shoes are fine though. Maybe it's just a bad pair and a little bad luck :-/
I have had amazing experiences with Zappos and a good friend who used to work for them but the last couple times I have dealt with them have been kind of a bummer--not their fault really, I mean some of this stuff happens when a company becomes mroe popular/bigger--shoes not fitting and some confusion about returning stuff. But, the customer service people are usually really nice.

I'm sure it must be a fluke, bc I've only heard great things about them! A few months ago another bee posted these beauties:
I found them on Zappos and put myself on a waiting list to get them in my size. Last week they became available. I ordered them immediately. I had a question about using Paypal to pay, so Zappos upgraded my shipping to overnight just b/c I had contacted their customer service.
The first pair of shoes never showed. They were never delivered to my house; lost somewhere in transit. So I went back and forth with Zappos and they sent another pair. That pair was also supposed to be shipped overnight, but I received them today instead.
Today I got my shoes and they are nothing like I thought they would be. The glue holding the soles on is seeping through the sides on both shoes. They are frayed around the edges. One has the heel separated from the rest of the shoe. They look like they have been worn and then resoled. Both shoes have patches on them where the satin has been rubbed away - leaving a spot that looks like my dog chewed on it.
Needless to say, I'm sending them back. Great, I get to deal with Zappos *again*! I just can't believe that they'd send something that is in such poor shape. Especially after my first order never arrived!
K that's the end of my rant - thanks for listening. :) I've heard awesome things about Zappos so I'm not sure what happened here. I think I'll stick with my light blue Crocs - though I loved the navy of the RSVPs. I just can't deal with ordering yet a 3rd pair.
