I need help. I went to my final dress fitting last week and my dress was tight…like took 2 people to zip me up…tight. My alterations lady told me that I should only need to lose about 7lbs to fit comfortably in the dress. Which, that is fine…b/c in my head I was thinking I have 4 weeks until my wedding, until about 30 min ago when I realized I only have a week and a half until my bridals are taken. So, please someone tell me I can do this. It’s only tight in the bust area…like right below my boobs. So, it’s not in my stomach or legs where I could go to the gym and focus on those areas. Anyone out there have advice for me. I’m seriously about to have a panic attack.

Anything I can do at home vs a gym (I don’t have a gym membership.)

@cgr8979: unfortunately, spot reduction is not possible. Drink water to drop water weight, eat righ (you could probably lose about 2lbs in a week, a week and a half), but that’s about it.

@cgr8979: Lots of water and clean eating. I would probably look into a diet of only lean protein and vegetables for the next week. No salt and Lots of egg whites for breakfast.

Do the South Beach Diet Phase 1. It’ll work if you’re strict! No grains, no alcohol, very little sugar (no fruit or anything with added sugar – look at all labels!), no starchy veg (potatoes, carrots, etc), no high-fat protein or dairy.
LOTS of vegetables and lean protein (egg whites, non- or low-fat dairy, lean meat like chicken breast and lean cuts of steak, some beans).
It’s not the most fun diet, but there are a lot of good foods you can eat still and it WORKS. Google for food lists and recipes.
