I booked my commissioner today! I am so excited. She seems really nice and went over what to expect on the phone. Firstly, she told me about the legal parts that cannot be removed from the ceremony. Then she said that I can have a NON-religious reading and a NON-religious blessing. She was very firm on this and as am I. It is a secular ceremony.
We are not meeting with her until June and she has said she does have a folder of sample ceremonies but she is always very open to suggestions. The only thing she has been firm (other than non-religion) on is that we HAVE TO meet at Tim Hortons which I don't mind at all. ;)
So Bees, Do any of you have a good NON-religious reading and a NON-religious blessing that you could suggest or like?
