I love that dress, and it's very flattering on you! You look great! :)
@Barker, Thank you!
@miss-spunkin, The whole dress is taffetta but the skirt has a lace/tulle overlay with pearls.
I can't wait to have it altered so that the top fits right and I'm not spillin out
I think it has a vintage feel, too. I love that about this dress. I think it's great. I'm so glad you found somehting after the Milly Bridal ordeal.
Thank you all!
I thought it was vintage-y too when I first tried it on, I think it is the way the halter straps fit, it reminds me of vintage swimsuits. (lol, does that make sense?)
I love the vintage feel...and I know what you mean about a vintage swimsuit neckline! beautiful dress :)
wow do you look sexy. i didn't see that dress:) lol. I love Davids as they are my carrier also. And my attendants dress. they dyed the shoes perfect. Everything went well..

Some of you may remember that I ordered a dress from Milly Bridal in China, and what started out wonderfully has turned disastrous. They still haven't started on my dress and the wedding is in two months.
I had planned to wait it out a little longer, but...
I took my girls to David's Bridal to try on some dresses. I never thought I would end up buying my dress from them because I have heard so many negative reviews.
We walked in and there was my dress on the mannequin. It was love at first sight, lol. I ooed and ahhed and left to go help my bridesmaids, but I couldn't leave it alone. The consultants were very nice and helpful and since it was a test dress AND they have a sale right now, I paid $600! The pictures don't do it justice and obviously the top needs to be let out, (I have a problem with finding dresses that fit my top and bottom the same). The top is taffetta and the skirt is lace with pearl beading and little tiny tufts of tulle that are tied on. It sounds bizarre but it is so pretty.
This was a little compulsive, but I love it!
Honest opinions, what do you think?
