I bought my dress! It's the Oleg Cassini Strapless Faille with Sweetheart Draped Bodice Style CT326. I bought it at David's Bridal for an incredible price because of the sale going on (and because it's a discontinued style).
I love that the hem of this dress is so flirty and shows my shoes, and I also love that it has pockets! Perfect for storing my lip balm and cell phone.
I had a bit of dress regret after buying it, but since then I've removed the flower and taken out the top layer of crinoline so it doesn't look as poofy anymore (photo 4 shows the poof most, but you can see a bit of it around my midsection in photo 3).
I'm also considering shortening the hem so that the dress doesn't trail on the ground (and so that a bit more leg shows in the front since I think the dress may be cutting me off in a weird spot right now).
I'm definitely so much more happy with my decision now, and I'm looking forward to wearing this fun dress on my wedding day!

(Don't mind the hanger string coming out of the side - that'll get tucked in.)

The poof that I changed a bit by removing the crinoline around my hips (don't mind the awkward arms - I had just put my hair up):

Beautiful dress! I love it - although I do I would like it better (for me) without the flower like you said.
It looks like dresses that I have tried on and liked. I have a couple of questions maybe you could answer for me. What is the material? It looks matte and light - almost like cotton. I really like it. Also, do you know if it comes in full length?
Thanks!
Thanks for all the really nice comments, guys!
@Crabbabs: I'm not sure if there's a special term for the way the material is woven, but it's made from polyester (not too glamourous, I know, but at least it looks nice!).
It's a firm-ish material, but it has a nice movement to it when I walk and move around.
I don't think it comes in full-length, but maybe you can check out other styles on the David's Bridal website? This is another one from Oleg Cassini that you might like (similar fabric) - though I'm not sure if you'd be a fan of the drop waist... but you can see photos of brides trying it on if you select "photo reviews first" in the reviews section of the page...
So freaking cute. Love it! Now you have a great excuse to buy a rockin' pair of heels ;)
@Alleycat: Absolutely! I'm thinking of going with a great pop of colour, like a cobalt blue or emerald green!
so cute and fun-I love the different lengths-you'll be able to dance all night!
I love this dress! I actually wanted to buy this one but after changing my location it didn't fit into the skeme. Love it, so beautiful! Where did you get your shoes?
@MrsNeutrino: Aw that's so nice! Thank you!
@Cluster5: Oooh, what kind of venue were you going to have? What is it now? The shoes were a pair the salesperson handed me from the store (David's Bridal). Though I was thinking of getting coloured shoes, I kind of like them!
Well my original plan was to get married at one of the hotels on the Las Vegas strip. And I wanted to have that dress with a pair of orange shoes! :o) But I changed my venue to a golf course about 20 minutes from the strip. So I decided to change my dress to a taffeta fit and flare with pick up and a rhinestone sash. (I also purchased from David's Bridal). I just though it fit in more with the golf course that I'm getting married at. But I think you should really do those colored shoes. This dress says "Look at these cute shoes".
Ahh stunning, was contemplating a dress that would show off my bright colored shoes too (as sadly I think if these arent on show they don't get the appreciation they deserve)
You rock this dress beautiful!
this is so flattering! it somehow looks classy and modern at the same time and i love that you can see your shoes. good choice!
All your complements are making me so happy!
I'm glad that though it's got a shorter front hem, you guys still see it as classy. I think it's got a kind of vintage yet still mod sophisitcation to it (while still being cute). Glad you guys see the same thing!
@Crabbabs: I found a dress that I think is exactly what you were looking for! Similar neckline, fabric, details, shape, it's full-length (like you wanted) and also has pockets! It's the Mori Lee 4524. What do you think?
Weird - I tried to post twice before this post and each time I got a notification saying that Weddingbee had to modify it and ensure it wasn't spam before posting it... I'm thinking it may have to do with the link I gave. I'll try again without the link:
Thanks for all your really nice comments everyone :)
Crabbabs: I think I've found what you're looking for! The dress has a very similar neckline, fabric, detailing, and shape to mine, it's full length (like you wanted), and it also has pockets! I won't provide a link to it (because of the weird notifications Weddingbee gave me), but there are some great "real bride" photos on Pre-Owned Wedding Dresses if you google the name of the dress, which is Mori Lee 4524. What do you think?
If Weddingbee does eventually post the two comments I wrote earlier, my apologies for the repeated message!
My initial thought was how radiant you look in it. You look absolutely beautiful! :)
