I decided a little while it was time for me to start my big girl jewellery collection :) so i bought myself a stunning rose cut green amethyst ring in rose gold on etsy!! YYYAAAAYY!! i am beyond excited!! ( can you tel?l lol)

I dont have a sparkly on my finger yet and the only ring i own is a simple silver band that SO gave me for our 1yr so i cant wait for my new ring to get here.  Sadly she is coming all the way from America so will take weeks to get here :(  i am so impatient.

Please keep me sane while waiting for it to arrive. Show me your beautiful RHRs and lets all love on them together :)

heres what im waiting for ( sorry it is so big)...

@Little knitter:  Yes.  Natural sapphire in 14K rose gold.  It is a vintage piece I found engraved with my first name (spelled correctly) and the month and day of my first date with FI - the year is wrong, but oh, well...

    Beautiful!!

I have a few that I alternate between, but I only have pictures of two of them. Right now I'm wearing them on my left hand until I get an engagement ring

I really want an orange stone RHR. DH's aunt has an orange amethyst, but I can't find an orange amethyst online, so I'm thinking of getting citrine.

    Yay for rings!

@Mrs Canuck:  What a lucky find for you, and so special :) Im a little partial to sapphires, theyre my birthstone.  I was actually trying to choose between a saphire stacking ring and a pearl ring when i stumbled across mine and just couldnt pass it up. Id love a sapphire as my next purchase though.

@PermaStudent:  Arent they beautiful!!!! i never really considered them but the colour just drew me in.  and the rose gold. YUM.

@givemecouture:  Both of them are Beautiful.  I especially love the first one you posted.it just looks like it was made for your finger :)

I may be addicted.  I just bought 2 more stacking rings. A really thin rose gold hammered band and a silver twisty band so i can wear them with the ring i already have.  I love the look of mixing metals. I think i need to put a hold on the ring buying though or there will be no money left for everyone elses presents :S

@Little knitter:  thank you! It's pink sapphire with tiny little diamonds on either side. My parents bought it for me after I left my ex husband so it means a lot to me.

@Little knitter:  i love the colour of the stone and the cut.  very nice.

@givemecouture:  i love the pink one with the double claws.  it is similar to my new padparadscha.

@redheadem:  orange stones are pretty.  have you seen the peachy orangey padparadscha sapphires?

here is my newest addition of rhr.  my dh surprised me with it last month.  it's a padparadscha sapphire.  it looks really pink in the pic but the colour is deeper and very warm.  it has a slight orange undertone so it looks great with all warm colours, red, pink, orange, gold, yellows, etc.

I don't know much sbout Etsy, but it seems that a lot of Bees shop there.  I'm curious about gem stones.  How do you know that the stone is genuine when you order from Etsy?

OOOO all so pretty. Right now, I want a sapphire ring that will also double as my college class ring. Thinking of getting a marquise cut sapphire and then having some kind of engraving on the band. And then the second one on my list would be a morganite in rose gold. mmmmmmmm YES!!!!

What a beauty! I LOVE green stones in rose gold!

I recently decided to start a "big girl collection" as well! :-) My first piece (besides my engagement and my wedding ring) was a diamond band and my second piece has been a pair of moissanite stud earrings! I am now starting to be on the look out for a gemstone RHR in yellow gold so I can alternate between that and my diamond band.

I don't have a picture of my earrings (they're being made so I haven't received them yet) but below is my diamond band. I am going to get it resized to fit on my right middle finger, since right now it just fits my left ring finger.
