Lol I always buy All Free and Clear because I have bad allergies as well. No scent or anything, and it is for a HE washer.

We use All Free & Clear too. It’s super affordable and seems to do the job. It’s good for baby clothes too and way cheaper than the pricey Dreft.

We do laundry at FMIL’s and she makes her own soap, but when we move, I’ll be buying Method free+clear. I have super sensitive skin. 🙁

@AB Bride:  This is the recipe that she uses. I might make my own once we move and have the room for it, and use a different type of bar soap and some essential oil vs. Ivory. Here’s a bit more info on homemade soap + HE washers, as I’ve never used one before!

@vorpalette:

I have used a recipe quite simillar in my HE washer (I make own for over a year now) and haven’t had an issue.

@AB Bride:  Yep I will echo and say that All Free and Clear is the best! I have super sensitive skin (seriously…I’m allergic to most shampoos and conditioners) and I absolutely love it. It’s also HE safe. 🙂 I tried making my own for a while and it’s pretty to look at in the mason jar, but even DH noticed that it doesn’t do as good of a job as the All Free and Clear. We buy a 90 load container for $10 and that’s lasted us quite a while. I also have to do laundry every day since DH works construction, so for something to last us the 5 months that the All has….that’s pretty good.

@AB Bride:  That’s so strange! It’s definitely in abundance down here in the states haha.
