Hi Ladies.... 

Three months later, the dress has been bought; however, the adventure was not without any drama! My two MOH and I went to the shop only to find that the sample was sold. I have not put on the dress in a few months, so I was ready to don it when we got there ... I freaked! I couldn't imagine buying the dress without seeing it one more time before laying down the cash. My heart was set on buying from this particular shop because one of the groomsman's stepmother owns it. SO the girls and I went to another shop just so I could see it again. (Our plan was to drive back to the dress shop I wanted to get it from to order). We tried a few shops and find out  No one is the vicinity had it - but I was determined to buy this dress today (my sister came in from out of town this weekend just for the event). So I decided to suck it up and get the dress without seeing it again. 

Well.. as I was ordering, I found out that the dress did NOT come in the color I had originally thought it would. This caused a break down! I was super upset at thinking that I had to give p my dream dress all because it did not come in a color that flattered my skin tone. 

My sister and I left to go home; i was devastated. As we were on our way home, I decided to stop in a shop closer to where I live (a shop I knew had the dress) just to try it on one last time before beginning my search - again. I put the sample (which was a hideous beige color) and was nearly brought to tears because everything but the color was PERFECT! The saleslady then explained to me that the dress did come in a light gold which was a little lighter than the beige... I didn't just for the hell of it. 

Weel wouldn't you know.. the light gold turned out to be an IVORY! Why the company chose to call it 'light gold' beats me because it was IVORY! I rushed back to the other dress shop and ordered it right away! I can't wait until it comes in in April!!!
