That’s a gorgeous dress on you! What don’t you like about it? Is it something that could be altered?

@m3chelle: I honestly think it looks great on you, but I understand.  I’m sorry you felt pressured into buying something that you don’t love.  I hope it works out for you.

I love that dress! Is there anything you could do with it to spice it up – a nice flower sash perhaps?

@jaguar: I was thinking the same thing! Maybe a great belt with some crytals on it

I think it looks great.  What specifically don’t you like about it?  Like others have said you might be able to add a pretty belt/sash or do alternations.  But if you really wanted a ball gown or something.. yeah, you’re in the wrong dress.

@m3chelle: I second placing it in the classifieds section here. I am sure a bride would love to have it!

I understand what youre saying. Its not THE ONE. All brides get that feeling when trying on dresses. I agree with putting it in the Classifieds. In the mean time, so you feel better talk about what is that you want. Maybe you can narrow down the dress. You said something about it being clean and simple. I know Maggie Sotterro has great dresses in great prices ranges. This dress below is around $700 bucks.

@m3chelle: Have you called the store at all to see if you can cancel the order and apply the $ to another dress? Also, if you’re interested in listing it, I think another bee posted that ebay is allowing free listings right now. One more place to advertise the dress if you decide to sell it. Sorry that it’s not what you want, but you’ll find the one that makes you light up, and well before August. Best of luck!

I think you look beautiful in the dress. I think you should think about it a little. I hated my choice too but now I love it!!! I agree with the flower sash. Etsy has some amazing ones!!!
