Hi!! I live in Arlington and I'm getting married in Alexandria in August 2008. Anyone have a good seamstress? How far in advance do I need to get my dress altered?

Hello! I live in DC (Capitol Hill) and will be getting married November 2009 in Chevy Chase, MD. I certainly have a lot of time to prepare but I'm looking forward to doing as many DIY projects as possible!
Hehe lots of June 7 brides here (me too!). I'm in central VA, and we're getting married near here, but FH is in Bethesda, and we're looking to buy a house there next year =)
