Weddingbee boards

...but I am engaged!!!!!! FI (AHHHHHH!) asked me tonight at our favorite winery! I have been away from the board for a bit in an attempt to take my mind off of it and bam! here it is!

Anyways, he told me to get ready about two this afternoon because we were going somewhere. Of course I asked him where and he said "somewhere." Well after driving for a half hour, we arrived at our favorite local winery and when we went in, he had this silver wrapped box that was the size of a clothing box, so I was confused. Well, we tasted some wine and bought a bottle to take to the table and sat down with some crackers and cheese. We sat there and sipped and laughed and had fun, but the entire time I was going crazy about that the box was for.

Well at about closing time of the winery, he said "do you want your box now?" and I said yes. Well the box had a paper arrow sticking out of it that he told me to pull and when I did, the entire lyrics of Rascall Flatts' "God Bless The Broken Road" came with it. I love that sone so that had me practically near tears.

Then, at the end of the long ribbon of lyrics was a piece of twine tied in a circle. I looked at him and he said, "Remember what you said about the twine?" And I said yes, because of course I remember telling him I wouldn't care if he proposed with a piece of string because it just meant I would get to spend the rest of my life with him... Well next thing I know, he has a white box in his hands with the most adorably gorgeous ring in it and he says, "Will you marry me?"

I thought he was joking so I said, "Are you serious?" And he said "Yes." And I jumped into his arms and was an instant flood of happy tears. I am so happy!

I can't wait to start planning!!
