I can't believe I'm saying this… I'm having dress regret!

Assuming your guests are bureaucracy for wedding websites like you (we) are and are only attending a handful of weddings a year max, I think chances are pretty slim they’re going to come across your dress.

And if it’s a popular but still kinda “normal” dress, your guests probably wouldn’t even notice if they had seen another bride wear it half a year ago. So if you love your dress and feel pretty in it, I say don’t worry. They’re gonna see you and see a beautiful bride!

NYMeetsPA:   That’s a lovely dress, and it will look different on every bride – no worries!!

I would feel the same way. However, I agree with a PP that NO ONE at your wedding (unless, perhaps, they themselves is bride planning her wedding) will know that it is a popular dress so don’t worry about that!

Don’t let it stress you that it is popular on those shows, your guests won’t be thinking about anything other than how beautiful you look in it!

NYMeetsPA:  Fabulous! You will make it your own with hair, make up, and accessories. Honestly, that dress is timeless…..I wouldn’t worry about its popularity. What are you doing for a veil? I’d totally wear a bird cage veil with it!

Probably the most important question, if you’re seriously considering doing this, is can your budget realistically accommodate the purchase of another dress?

NYMeetsPA:  No way! That dress was made for curves! Honestly, as far as popularity goes, that pattern of dress is very popular in general because its just a classy look. It doesn’t matter who else is wearing it, you wear the dress, it doesn’t wear you.

Why are you concerned your FI won’t like it? I’ve got some curves myself. My husband would love me in a dress like that! What do you think he wants to see?

NYMeetsPA:  LOL! You should totally rock Princess Leia buns at your reception, haha.

Try on some different boleros and jackets and see what you like. You mind find something that you really works.
