I didn't realize I was making a boo-boo by putting my blog up there, so for those of you who want to see my gorgeous ring, I've attached a picture here! (Sorry for the goof!)

And here is my all-time favorite piece of jewelry! (My fiance used my grandma's diamond, which my PaPa (whom we lost last year to Alzheimer's) picked out for her. She also once lost this diamond at an event and found it in the bottom of the last of 5 industrial-sized garbage bags!)

Well, hive, the time has come for me to join the ranks of the ENGAGED!!!! My amazing fiance (I CAN'T BELIEVE I CAN SAY THIS NOW!!!) proposed on Tuesday night!!!
He blindfolded me and took me back to the spot of our first date, which was a blind date (so he wanted the proposal to be "blind" too). He talked about things we discussed all the way back on that first date, and then asked me to remove my blindfold. As I did, I heard a guitar start playing, and cameras started flashing, which did get my attention. When I finally realized that I hadn't seen my man, I turned and there he was - down on one knee holding the most beautiful ring I've ever seen! He then asked me to be his wife! I've never felt such surprise and joy!
Needless to say, I said yes, and here we are - happy as ever and engaged to be married!
