Oh man! I really hope that bride sees this. Poor woman. Are we sure VirginiaMarie isn't really already married and she's getting married the 25th in Collinsville, IL? lol
oh my god..... who would do such a thing! id have half a mind to email her and tell her just what i think! wowwwww.....
The is so awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone should respong and let that person know how bad that is.
@ejs4y8: Hoosiers are from IN - the wedding is in IL. Thank god this "brilliant" soul isn't from my home state! lol!
OMGOSH that is sooo bananas!!!! I would be so mad if I was the bride!
hoosier? this is in illinois. don't you disrespect us hoosiers like that!! :)
I am not sure what I think. This totally blows me away. Who what ... Why is it okay to have total strangers appear at the wedding. Why wouldn't she contact the bride and apologize. I would think that the bride might even be ok since sometimes, it sucks, but people who didn't RSVP show up. Just on NOOOOO level do I think this is okay. I'm trying to imagine any bride being okay with this. I hope this person thinks they still have to send the gift. I'm not usually the one worried about about a gift but this person has encurred the cost of attending so she needs to send the gift anyway... not make money on this poor bride.
I just emailed the seller to tell her how wrong it was that they did that. I hope they respond.
OMG, there are almost no words. I mean, who would go? What if the bride finds out? (which she obviously will). And who would do something like that??
I think this was done out of anger, this person is probably really mad at the bride and groom for something and trying to punish them.
Found one wedding website that matches the date & location. I mean, I know there must be more than a few weddings in Collinsville that day but...
I also posted about this on the local St. Louis board. Maybe someone will know the bride.
Oh my gosh...what a jerk. I so hope this is not real. That poor bride.
we should just all flag her ad... i did. .... i wanna hear what she says back!
OMG! I would super pissed! Why do people even think that's okay? I would be walking around greeting people, and then get to the person this person sells these too, and be like "Umm do I know you?" "No, but you friend rsvp'd yes and couldn't make it so she/he gave the seats to us." I would be like "What!? =O" That just isn't right.
@Edina: are you going to ask that bride if it is her wedding? maybe it's better to just get the post deleted so she never has to know! lol.
@danadelphia: Omg! LOL! Please let us know the outcome of that!!
I agree with Coffeekitty in that I hope the bride doesn't see this thread - it would only upset someone. Flag the CL post, then I kinda feel like this thread should be deleted...
i disagree.... if i was the bride id want to know if my guest was trying to sell their spot! but thats just me.
THis has to be a joke. Who would ever do such a thing? It shows how much they respect the people that invited them.
@coffeekitty: Nah, I'm not going to. The Bystander Effect is in full swing over here.
Some friend that CL poster says she is! I wonder if the bride was trying to make her pay for her seats when she said she couldn't come.
@danadelphia: I would also absolutely want to know. I only found that one wedding website though, and the chances that they are actually the bride & groom are meh. If I only I had the power of 4chan...they really know how track people down IRL!
so.... someone should slap my hand.... bc i just emailed the person and asked her all about it (where it was at.... what time...... who the bride n groom are)... i hope she emails me back. lol
omg. ridiculous. so ashamed to be from that part of the country right now lol
