I had to up my dose of clomid to 50mg this month and as usual feeling pretty hopeless. I'm on CD17 and taking opk's and was expecting another negative today (I wasn't even going to take it) and having to up my dose again next cycle...but it was a HUGE positive! I didn't even have to study it like I usually do. I didn't even ovulate last month and probably not the entire year off ttc! I can't beleive this is actually happening to me! My dh works until 11 tonight and I called him so excited!
Wow, I can offically be in the 2 week wait...this is truly amazing:D

Thank you, everybody! Is it weird that I have the test next to me while on the computer? I just can't believe it and I have to keep looking at it! Ahhh!
Congrats!! And it's not weird at all! I usually take OPKs right after I get home from work, before I make dinner and I totally bring the test into the kitchen and set it on a paper plate while I'm cooking so I can look at it and study it haha <----weirdo, right here!

Woohoo! I know the feeling of being on clomid and just waiting and waiting for that positive OPK -- not to mention the fear that the doctor will want to increase your dosage again if things don't go as planned! Happy dance for you, my friend! Now go jump your DH and get busy!
@bunny:Clomid is terrible. I lucked out last month by not having any symptoms, but it also didn't work. I losy count of how mny hot flashes I had the past couple weeks! I had to convince my dh not to leave work when I told him! He's like, "Is the egg out of your body already?!"

I am my 5th cycle of TTC and I don't think I have ovulated yet either so I can completely understand where you are coming from!!!!

@JewishBride: I don't know if this helps, but I always knew when we could stop BDing because I stopped having hot flashes! As soon as that egg dropped, my body temp regulation went back to normal! So weird!
That is so awesome, JB! You have me even more excited to try Clomid out once my period arrives. I'm starting on 25mg though.
