- Wedding: May 2015 - The beach.
I’ve probably tried on 20-25 wedding dresses and I don’t feel like a bride in any of them. I mean, all the dresses are pretty, but I didn’t get that “OH THIS IS THE ONE” feeling that so many brides talk about. It’s really upsetting me. It’s not that I’m indecisive and I know what I do and do not like, but I’m just not feeling super wowed in any of them 🙁 Has anyone else had this problem? Did you ever resolve it?

What silhouettes have you tried on and what colors have you tried on?
You may need a dress that isn’t made to be a wedding dress, a wedding dress that’s unusual in some way, or a style that you haven’t considered yet.

Not everyone has an OMG this is ‘the one’ moment. Whichever dress you end up choosing will be the one in as much as it will be the one that you get married in. Stop putting yourself under pressure to have a massive emotional reaction to pile of pretty fabric. Dress shopping should be fun and the pressure will ruin that. As long as you find something that suits you and you’re happy to get married in you will ghave a fantastic day even if you don’t cry when you try it on.. in fact my Maid/Matron of Honor knows someone whose dress split right along the side seem when she sat down for the meal and the bride simply went upstairs put on something else and still had a fantastic day.
What I’m trying to say is don’t panic, try to enjoy the process and remember that thousands of women buy dresses that weren’t ‘the one’ but they liked most out of the ones they tried on and still look fabulous on the day and have awesome weddings
