I can't seem to keep ___ stocked in my house...
1) tissues- 6 boxes of tissues I think we last us a month or less
2) Orange juice.. Between the two of us, we go through a gallon of OJ a week.
What about you?
cereal--FI eats like half a box every time he has breakfast
popcorn--we both eat like a giant bowlful every single night
tooth paste--OCD tooth brushers!
batteries--they are never around when we need them!
Uh... Wine? lol
And holy crap that's a lot of tissues!
Oh, fun thread!
For us, it would be toothpaste (we are both crazy brushers!), paper towels, and unhealthy snacks :)
Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits. Sorry for the product endorsement, but they're delicious!
OJ, frozen fruit and yogurt. I make smoothies every morning and sometimes at night :)
Also, ice cream! LOL
Toilet Paper & Paper Towels - I feel like it's always on our shopping list.
Ketchup - FI is an addict and uses way too much. :p
what I like to call "shower condiments": shampoo, conditioner and esp. facewash!
Toilet paper and to second hermitcrab shower condiments... Never realize there is none until I'm about to use it.
Pepsi for me, Dr. Pepper for him. Also, Nutella, tortillas, eggs and shredded Mexican blend cheese. We go through cereal & orange juice phases where that happens though!
OMG yes to the Cereal. Boy thinks that a mixing bowl is an appropriate serving size for cereal.
And Fruit Bars (like the frozen ones with the fruit chunks). We love those things.
Cereal, like a PP, boyfriend eats a ton every night after he works out.
Diet Pepsi. We go through it like mad.
FOOD. LOL FH still has a football player's appetite. I cook almost everyday and he doesn't even live here yet. SMH
@ILikePink: OMG. He ate 2 large bowls a day. A box lasts 3 d if it's the LARGE box that's almost $5! One day I got out a measuring cup and calculated the calories he was eating every am. Now he's down to one.
@AmeliaBedelia: oh yeah, definitely ketchup. I might have a problem ;) also, adorable username!
Ugh! Also Ketchup. I always joke that I am going to buy that giant ketchup at Costco with the Pump, because boy puts it on everything. I should get him one for Christmas.
I am kind of on the FOOD page because my boy, a former college athlete, is convinced he still needs the calorie intake of a baseball player. He eats a disgusting amount of calories, but doesn't gain. Well. He has a tiny belly. Tiny. If I ate like he did I would weigh 500 lbs.
I also buy special Diet Coda made with Splenda, because I am allergic to Aspertame. It's sort of hard to find, and boy always drinks it. Pisses me off, because he can get his normal Diet Coke anywhere.
@AmeliaBedelia: FI is also obsessed with ketchup! my parents gave him all these gourmet ketchups for christmas last year, it's that bad!
for us it's diet coke (my vice!), trader joe's turkey meatballs, & ben & jerry's half baked foyo
Litterbox liners.
Wine.
Beer.
The first one because we never think about them when we're buying other stuff. The second two because we go through them instantly when we do buy them. So we usually don't keep them around.
Everything else, we're pretty good about stocking in advance, fortunately. I hate grocery shopping midweek.
Bottled Water, Beer, Diet Coke and my husband's energy drinks for when he studies! From my list we definitely consume a lot of liquids lol
Food wise probably chips. we are both snackers
for all of you who said ketchup---i saw a T shirt the other day that said "I put ketchup on my ketchup." made me laugh. I am canadian and i feel like canadians put ketchup on everything--like scrambled eggs! hahaha
diet pepsi!! i cant live without it. It is my coffee. I have to have a CAN in the morning. just cans. or I will freak out!! lol For him it would probably be poweraid or oreos! My daughter is obsessed with cherry tomatos and cheese sticks!!
@heatherrobyn. That explains it! Boy is from Saskatchewan. I almost bought him that shirt at Hot Topic.
1. Tissue
2. Scrubbing bubbles toilet stick-ons
3.Salad crunchers- salad mix things for toings
4. garbage bags!
@Belle2Be: My kind of girl!
I can't keep champagne or wine stocked in my house. We registered for a wine fridge and I'm glad we didn't get it. It would be empty all the time.
If there is wine or champagne in my house I will drink it.
@heatherrobyn: Who doesn't put ketchup on their scrambled eggs?! Okay, well, DH doesn't. It is sort of a food group for me, especially on hot dogs. I like a hot dog with my ketchup. Seriously.
So to answer the OP: Red onions and peanut butter. DH eats at least one peanut butter sandwich every day and never tells me when the jar is getting empty. I cook EVERYTHING with onions I think. I'm always buying red onions!!! Or we have a red onion loving mouse hiding in our house....
food in general. I go to the grocery store 3-4 times a week and we're always out of something. One the list for tomorrow is chicken broth, onions, potatos, cucumber, and a tomato.
Milk - we go through several gallons per week
Wine - if its here I drink it
Cheese/crackers - I eat this for a snack every day after work so it goes quickly!
Toilet paper - I feel like we are always buying more!
