@accorn: Do you have a large pillow you could hug? I sleep much better if I'm cuddling with a "hugging pillow". It's funny, now that we are back in the same place, both of us still have our "hugging pillows" that we sleep with.
When DH and I were in an LDR, I also tried to read (or watch tv) in bed until I could barely keep my eyes open anymore so I could turn the lights off and fall right asleep (rather than laying awake thinking about him not being there).
DH and I are in a LDR with the military, and I like to spray his cologne on his pillow. I also had him wear the same t-shirt to bed for the last several days before he left and I would fall asleep with it next to me so it at least where he used to be smelled like him.
Honestly, there really is no easy way to get used to it... :( Sleeping alone sucks. The first few nights after he left I didn't sleep till maybe 4am, and after that I was so tired I would start falling asleep eariler. But it's just not easy no matter what... I hope it gets easier soon!

We have a short term ldr and I'm having so much trouble sleeping without him, do you guys have any suggestions?
I only have 4 more months of this.
