How do you all do it? It’s 39 days til our wedding and I want to pull my hair out. There are so many details to deal with! And, as someone else put it, it’s all stuff.
We’re having a wedding of about 300 people and I find myself constantly saying that I can’t wait til this sh*t is over with. That makes me sad. This is supposed to be a happy, joyous time building up to the most important (so far) moment of my life and yet I can’t. f***ing. wait. to be done. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
It’s hard to deal with all the details, especially given that they’re tasks not so easily delegated. Picking the type of ribbon to tie the programs together, calculating exactly how much ribbon you’ll need, designing and ordering the table markers, doing table assignments, arranging bathroom rentals!! And that’s just the beginning.
I’m ecstatic to marry my love and can’t freaking wait for the day I get to finally walk down that aisle to him, but all this BS leading up to it is sometimes hard for me to deal with. I also have to say that I don’t really like that it has required me to talk to his family more. I like them, but they SUCK at communication. If it happens at all, its not always nice and it’s not as detailed as it should be. For example, my Future Mother-In-Law never even bothered responding to my email asking about the flower girl dresses. HELLO??
How do you handle it? What do you do to make this time less stressful? What do you do to better manage all the menial yet somehow important tasks at hand? Are you, too, looking forward to getting this thing over with?!!??
