My wedding is in 6 weeks and I’m dealing with the death of my first cousin. Two days before she died, we was talking to another cousin about how upset she was she could not bring a date. Fiance and I did not extend singles a +1 because we are on a tight budget.
Personally, if her date had been her ex husband I would have been fine and looked the othder way. He is a nice guy and they are still close. But what I was trying to avoid was her bringing her boyfriend, who was not a ncie man whatsoever. Like really, a waste of flesh.
Well Bees, she died. I was at work when I got the call. It was sudden. My last thoughts towards her were anger and her last thoughts of me were anger at my wedding and possibly not attending. I’m in shock but I’m doing better.
Geez…if it had not happened to me, I would not believe it

@red_rose: I’m also curious. Was she very young?

This is a good example of how in significant our wedding fuss is and how we take life for granted.
So sorry to hear! Thinking of you and your family at this time!

Thank you everyone.
She died from surgery complications from a surgery she had over 10 years ago. She was only in her mid 30’s and left behind children. The family is in deep sorrow.
Thank you for your concern
