I would do my own makeup simply because I don't think I would trust someone to do it without a trial run. I am using Bare Escentuals for myself and all my bridesmaids. It ships really fast and it's super easy to get an airbrushed look with little to no effort. Practice makes perfect.
As for hair, I would call around to all the salons and hope for the best. If you can't find anything, maybe go for a simple style that you can do yourself with your bridesmaids help?
Maybe ask your original "stylist" if she/he can recommend someone since they put you in this situation.

Call around to all the local salons-
As far as makeup- I had my friend that sells Mary Kay do my makeup. It looked sooo good. Now granted, she only used SOME of what I already had in my makeup arsenal, but I ended up buying TONS because MK stuff is AMAZING.
Worst case scenario- go to a clinique counter and get some how to on what to do. And get something that is at least a medium coverage foundation so that it lasts!
You can try my stylist, do you need the stylist to do all the bridesmaids' hair?? She charges a minimum fee to travel because it's outside the Bay Area. The salon she works for is Mia Bella in San Bruno and you can reach her direct by text - 510-882-2016. She might be busy but if you need her for both hair/make-up for the whole bridal party she may do it. Check her out. She does a really good job! I've seen a number of weddings she's done, you wouldn't be disappointed.

fortunately for you, you are in a high density area when it comes to good makeup and hair (the bay area!) you can also call the makeupartistry network and find someone through that.

12 days and counting until the BIG day and I don't have anyone to do my hair and makeup. I USED to have someone until they called a couple of days ago to let me know that they had double booked my day. I am getting married in St. Helena on May 10th. Any advice of where to look???? Even my back up, the Marriott salon is "in between stylists" right now. How is that even possible?? HELP!
