I want to know if your photog was a girl. If it was a guy - was it awkward at all?
ETA: The reason I ask is that in my area, almost every single photog is male. So if I were to get these done at some point, it'd most likely be a guy shooting.
@Gingersnap: Good question. For me personally, I decided that if I did do this, it had to be a girl. Yes I would have been odd feeling in front of a random guy, but for me it was actually that I think my FI might of had a problem with it. Not in a big fight angry at me sense, but in that it might make him uncomfortable way.
My wedding photographer actually isnt near where we live at all, but as it turned out she had business here, and was happy to do it. So yes it was a she, and yes totally made it easier for me. 100%. We did do a few bare shots and there is NO WAY that would have happened with any other photographer, point blank, haha.
- How much did you pay?
- How did you prep your skin?
- What did you wear?
- How long did it take?
- Was it mostly her ideas of what to do or yours?
:)
How revealing did you go? And what did your outifit or props consist of? =)
@berkie: And
@CupCakeMeg: Ok so, as far as pay goes, I worked a special deal out with my photog, as like I mentioned before, she is shooting our wedding. As for skin, I didnt do anything out of the norm for me. I always use good facial lotion before makeup, and I made sure to put lotion on my legs before shooting. Dont want rough dry spots on film! :)
It took us roughly 3 hours of solid shooting. We were at the hotel longer, but after catching up for a while reviewing outfits and getting ready, it was a solid 3 hours worth of shooting.
As for outfits, I already had some fun (read honest fun, not super naughty fun) bras, panties, etc. Some of my girls, for the Bach party, had also given me a few things as gifts, so I had those as well. I am also a BIG shoe person, so I had a nice arsonal to pulll from. My photog and I reviewed everything I brought and then pieced together outfits and looks.
Ideas wise, we really used the room and the fantastic furnishing and light that was in it. It sort of flowed on its own. I wont lie, I had Tyra Banks all Smise!! in my head, haha. I got more nekked then I had planned on, but it just sort of worked out that way. I mean it in the most artistic, amazing photos way. Clearly not penthouse style. Again, I was comfortable with my photog and her skills and when she showed me pics, I was like damn! Ok lets keep shooting! I was also happy to get some undies back on ;)
@HardyPooleParty: I love that you just said you had smise going on. Glad you had fun!
@PitBulLover: Weeeeell, she did show me pics as we shot. I def missed the smise mark now and again. Seems angry face goes pretty hand in hand with smise :)
