Oh I had plans alright, I was going to have it cleaned and either presented in a box thingy for me to look at for years to come or donate it. Then I got lazy… It’s currently sitting in my wardrobe covered in dirt from my wedding night lol… I got married 2.5 years ago 🙁

My dress is from the 1940’s, so I don’t know if I could bear to give it up, I might display it my house somehow.

yup:  I actually found it crumpled up in a dingy thrift store for $35, they had it all crumpled up and hangng on the wall, it is what they call a ” new look gown”, so it has a very full skirt/ball gown made out of silk taffeta it’s very old but actually y looks like something Carolina Herrera would design. The veil actually came with it, it’s this amazing catherdral length all alcenon (sp?) lace Mantilla…I am now restoring it so I can look like Grace Kelly on my wedding day!
