Love it! I want to copy you, but I'm not creative we're having candles haha
It's pretty. However it looks like it blocks people from seeing each other across the table.
@bella...I can honestly say that this was one of the easiest DIY projects ever.
@mashka...they are carnations. I got them from Dollar Tree $1 a bunch. Each bunch had about 5 flowers on it and I bought 20 bunches. I gave the cashier my card so that she can call me whenever they put more out =) Apparently they are seasonal so you can't order them in bulk from dollartree.com
@selena...she is doing 1 long U shaped table so there won't be people across the table. The head table will have all low ones.
@pudding...she is excited to see how it will look with the tablecloths and runners...all of that stuff is in VA with her, so I had to make do with my "nekkid" kitchen table =)
It looks really good! I love the yellow with the damask, it really pops. :)
can i copy this... i love them... you are so creative
looks great! i hope those little jewel things are cheap. people will scoop them up like candy. lol

So...my sister is getting married in September and I am DIY-ing a lot of her wedding/reception decor. So tonight, I did a trial run of her centerpieces. We are using fake flowers b/c she may be going on a 5 month deployment soon so we want things that can be done and ready to go in case she won't be in the states to do much. I spent $54 on all of the supplies and I still have the scissors, glue gun, glue sticks, styrofoam ball, and ribbon left....not bad =)
We plan on making a few changes....a taller center vase....and small alternating square and cylindrical vases (it was too hard to work with ribbon using the round ones I bought). and adding white wide ribbon under the black skinny ribbon. I didn't want to do damask on all of the vases since we are doing black tablecloths with damask runners.
So hive...what do you think??
