I sent hand written cards which said ” Plan with me, stand with me, laugh with me, cry with me. Will you hold my dress while I pee? Be my Bridesmaid/Maid of honour” it was my sister and bff of 20 years. they laughed and loved them.

I’m thinking of doing Bridesmaid boxes too. But I was thinking of having things inside like: a copy of the movie “Bridesmaids” (though its not that great so I may put “How to Marry a Millionaire” because I’m a classic movie junky and it’s on theme). A mini bottle of champagne (or sparkling wine) to celebrate. Yummy chocolates (to keep their energy up doing all that DIY) Maybe ferrero rocher. An airplane bottle of hard liquor, (for when I go bridezilla an they need to self medicate to put up with me. And maybe a pearl necklace or bracelet to wear on the day of the wedding.

Maybe more, I don’t know.

I made these boxes to ask my bridesmaids. They included a letter and photo of us together, fresh flowers, macarons, paint swatches and fabric sample, pieces of card which explained details about our day, their role and their attire, and some ‘mood board’ pictures.

I posted a few more pictures here if anyone is interested 🙂

I made hand-made cards with the silhouette of a dress on the front and printed inserts and then hand wrote a special message to each of them.  I also decorated the envelopes with their names and images that go with the theme of our wedding.  They also got a small bottle of champage with their inital/monogram on it (just a sticker that fit the design of the label) and a bottle of nail polish that I took the sticker off of and added my own which said ‘dress colour’.  They thought it was cute and I saw the champage in one of my girl’s kitchen on display 🙂

I literally asked them. I had started to make photo collages with each girl, but I saw one and I couldn’t wait to ask her so I simply asked them all.

I made these boxes for my bridal party. (all DIY) The boxes had a tank top, chocolate, custom champagne glasses and ingredients of our signature drink so they could make it at home. The best part is that I mailed these boxes out so everyone came home to a surprise. They all loved them!!

I didn’t really want mine to be too cutesy… so I decorated some boxes, typed out some info and gave them all little skull vodkas

Well all except the youngest bridesmaid who is 20 (she’ll be 21 by the time we get married)… as a joke I gave her a little jar of baby food:

I made cards with paper dolls inside.  Each doll represented me, and my two bridesmaids…  We were all living in different cities, so I mailed these, and was on the phone with each of them when they recieved the card.  It was fun 🙂

Jlopez220:  Love the idea of mailing them! I’ve asked 2/4 of my girls in person, but I know I won’t see one of the others for a few weeks… maybe I can sent them and give her a surprise!

MsGolightly:  Those look amazing! I like how you’ve individualised the hair! So cute.
