Ugh. I didn't get the great job I'd interviewed, and as of Thursday I will be very marginally employed. Funding ended abruptly for some of my work and what's left is only going to earn me $720 gross for the summer! I've already contacted the employment department and human services. I am still looking for work. Bummed tho, it was a great job, very interesting with good pay and insurance. Now I've got like 1/5 of a job left with no insurance (haven't had any for about 5 years). I know what to do to find a job; I help people look for work for a living! Still, it's disappointing. I know there is something great out there. Also, I've lost 17 pounds now with weight watchers and have to buy a new pair of jeans and capris today because my pants are too baggy again. And I'm with the sweetest man in the world.
