I was excited to try Netflicks for free for a month. So I signed up. I was excited at first but realized theres a lot of old movies and shows. I watched what interested me at first but was running out of stuff to watch. Then all that was left was things Ive never heard about. I dont mind old shows and movies, but the choices here were kind of not me.
I wasnt going to stick around and start paying. But I did stay and realized that they give you a whole lot more options when you start paying! Now its not so bad!
Though if you get hooked on a show you find out fast that not all seasons are available to you all the time. 🙁
Oh well. Its cheaper then cable and satellite.

@Earlybride: I did not know they gave you more when you start paying… Hmmm. and for more current seasons of shows I would check out HULU they have a free option too!

@MsPanda: Yeah…. on the day I started to pay, bam all of a sudden new shows and movies that werent there the day before.
When before I was on there everyday with the same options.

Oh they dont ever show you all the shows and as you watch more they will start to get a feel of what you like and post those 🙂

I have Netflix, and my parents have cable. But cause of my work schedule I never watch shows that come on every week so I like Netflix.

Another thing that helps is if you go to the website and just spend some time rating things. Whether you liked it, didn’t like or haven’t seen it just rate it! It helps them figure out what stuff you’d be interested in and put more stuff up for you to choose from. I love Netflix!

I like Netflix bc I can watch it on my iPhone. I do wish they get some new shows/films.

@Olive12: Not sure if Hulu plus plays on your phone but it has like ALL of the new shows you can think of.. unfortunately some networks are super strict with certian shows and its hard to watch those… but for the most part I’ve been able to watch the whole new season online 😀

Honestly, I hardly ever use it anymore. I find the shows I want to watch via other sites and watch that way. I just search around to find the current season of whatever show I want. It’s on the internet somewhere!
I do love Netflix though. I’ve rated well over 1000 things, so it’s spot on with recommendations. Like, if I could rate in fractions, the rating it suggests for me is typically what I would have rated something. Definitely get on there and rate more things. It will start recommending better things for you.

I love Netflix. Seriously, Fiance said he was thinking of getting rid of it and I screamed out loud!
