Wow. This is probably the most insensitive thing I have ever seen on the bee.

..yeah, you just don’t know who’s on here that lost someone…you don’t have to care, but you do have to be a decent human being, please delete this before you make someone’s bad day even worse.

I don’t think i can respond to this without being moderated.

So I will just say that maybe you should think about looking outside of yourself at how this does affect others. If it doesn’t affect you, then I’m so sorry you have to go through a whole day of seeing it on FB, but perhaps you can try to think of how it might help others to heal, and get over it.

Clearly you haven’t lost a loved one due to the 9/11 attacks.  Way to show empathy and tact.

I don’t really need to be reminded, but for other reasons; my Aunt was in the South Tower when the second plane hit and didn’t know she was alive until 8:30 that night.  My cousin luckily was away on business, but would have been in one of the other buildings that were destroyed.

Today in NJ, they are souding the emergency sirens at every major point of the timeline of that day, it is quite upsetting sitting at my desk and hearing them go off.

I know we need to never forget what happened that day, but I don’t wish to be reminded it of it either.  It was a horrible day that I hope I never have to relive.

I remember where I was when the Challenger exploded, when Kennedy died, but the memory of 9/11 was just more personal than those, and I would just like to not to have it in my face.
