@badabing88:  id quite like to try a dress like that on. i see poofy quinceanera dresses all the time (live in mexico but not mexican) and im quite jealous i never got to wear one haha

then again, my non poofy dress was surprisingly heavy and hard to walk in (felt like i was walking through water) so lord knows how a dress like that feels

I think it’s AWESOME! Can you imagine (minus cut-outs, plus straps) how CUTE it would look on a flower girl?

I tried on a couple quinciniera dresses in Mexico several years ago, and while I definitely liked the poof, I am not sure I’d go for those colors. Give it to me in a light green with more of a southern belle skirt than ruffles, though, and I’m totally game.

@mchitt329:  The average gypsy will spent between $5,000 to $9,000 but if a husband receives more money, they will add more to the dress.

My FI told me the other night when we were watching this show…  “Im glad you aren’t a gypsy… no dice” lol

@badabing88:  I just looked it up and that is what the lady who makes them said.  I thought it would be over 10k especially because they are usually on such short notice!

I just turned to my husband and said, “Honey, after a lot of deliberation, I want to show you my wedding dress.”

His back was to me, he sighed and went, “Why am I worried?” He slowly spun around and I showed him that dress. “I knew it.”

I laughed and he goes, “What is it?”

“It’s my wedding dress.”

Then he looked real thoughtful and said, “There are munchkins under there holding it up.”

So there you have it. That dress is powered by munchkins.
