@drlolaz:  I usually eat so many veggies.  They sound horrid now.  DH went to the store and stocked up as usual with tons of greens… so now he’s eating huge salads and cooking and eating tons of veggie dishes… while I sit here and eat bread, bread, bread, pasta, bread, oh, some ice cream too…  At least the nausea helps with the feeling pregnant!

@drlolaz:  This is the story of my life. I only feel less queasy with a steady food intake.

@Looopy:  And this is basically all I want to eat – carby goodness and ice cream treats.

No wonder I feel like a sausage stuffed into my normal work pants.

I feel ‘fat’ because I am not visibly pregnant yet… hopefully a few more weeks/more showing will help me feel a little better.

I am very visibly pregnant at almost 34 weeks and I still feel fat. Probably because I gained everywhere and I am not one of those people who only gained in the belly. I blame some of it on me and circumstances and some of it to just the way it is for me.  I never used to have my thighs touch and now they rub like crazy Undecided

Like @Looopy:  I used to eat soooooo many veggies. Now they still make me sick. Literally. So do most foods. I can eat carbs, cheese, yogurt, fruit and more carbs. And 100 degree temps up until last week did not make exercise conducive for this over heating pregnant lady.

@drlolaz:  I went through a few weeks where I was constantly stuffing my face to feel better also. I’m 15w1d now & I’m eating more “meals” and less snacking. I can’t decide if my belly is all bloat or if its a baby bump but I’d probably lean towards bloat because I’ve been rocking my maternity clothes for 6+ weeks now. How far along are you?

I get ya. I don’t feel pregnant, I just feel vaguely sick and malaised all the time. I mean, that’s pregnant for you at 8 weeks, I guess. Farty, bloated, and gross. Really waiting to feel ethereal and motherly, and less like I ate something bad that won’t go away. LOL.

That’s exactly how I felt.  My whole first trimester in order for me not to feel sick I had to eat all the time, I couldn’t even been the slightest bit hungry.  And like everyone else it was all carbs so I did pack on a decent amount of weight in my first trimester.  Now since about 15-16 weeks I don’t feel a need to snack as much and am eating better, less foods make me feel sick.  Plus I have the energy to exercise again.  So i actually haven’t gained anything since about 16 weeks (I’m 25 weeks now).  I will say I felt fat pretty much up until 20ish weeks when I had a discernable bump and people knew I was pregnant instead of just awkwardly staring at my stomach and wondering to themselves if I’m just getting fat or if I’m pregnant.
