I didn't have a flower girl - i lined both sides of the aisle with petals and I thought it looked lovely!
@freefalling143: You could have the aisle laid with petails before the ceremony starts. Have it blocked off so guests don't walk on it, and then they'll be there for you to walk on.

I won't have a flower girl but want to still have petals down the isle. Any thoughts or suggestions? I had seen where paper cones were made which held petals and then the family and friends who attended would toss the petals as I, the bride, walk down the isle?
Sounds cute?! any other ideas?
