To me it sounds like you can definitely start with planning – or at least preplanning. Have you spoken to your FH/BF and told him that you’re a bit confused as to the status of your relationship and where does he think you stand? That’s the easiest way to find out really!

It sounds to me like you’re engaged. You should probably talk to him to figure out when you’ll get married, that way you can begin planning. Congrats!

If he’s just joined the army, his schedule may be a little crazy – which actually give you a really easy way to bring the topic up with him. Next time you guys are talking about marriage, ask him when he was thinking, or when he’ll have time off.
Are you thinking of getting married in the States or in South America?
Congrats on your engagement!!

I agree with the other ladies, the next time you speak with him don’t be afraid to ask him about this. You rather be sure then unsure about the status of your relationship. From what I am hearing you are engaged but just be sure before you start making plans. The military will change things a bit for you schedule wise so you have to work with him on this anyway.

I’m not sure that I would interpret that as engaged, start planning or engaged, we both want to get married but it may be in a couple of years. I think you need to have a serious talk with him. Maybe ask if he thought about a date or a season or year?

it definately sounds like you’re engaged!
that being said, i think before you make any CONCRETE plans you should probably talk with him about what his expectations are, and what yours are, and get a date and a budget.
but there’s nothing wrong with pre planning! if you know where you’ll be getting married start researching 🙂
