Can you get a topper or a mesh top fitted or something like that?  I think it would make it a lot less booby and more elegant.

michele22287 :  you’re so right.  Time for a seamstress to make you a sheer yoke neckline or something like that?

Am I seeing things, or does the bodice look shorter after alterations, too?

misslucy :  Omg yes! Look at the beading near the cleavage- the dress dips down a full inch lower than it used to! Is it possible they got confused and made the dress more revealing at the top, rather than more conservative? It looks like they did the complete opposite of what you asked.

Gorgeous dress though 🙂

You’re definitely overreacting!!! It seriously doesn’t look bad enough to be crying over it. I see what you mean where they basically have the dress pushing in on the side of your breasts. That needs to be fixed. But the cleavage doesn’t look bad at all (this is coming from a conservative dresser).

You’ve still got time to get it fixed!!

Ok, it’s not ruined and you have plenty of time. My hem was being done the week before. I think you should take it back or get a refund as they did not do what you asked at all. There’s more cleavage now! And I see the digging in. That’s so strange. But still a lovely dress. (Btw you could add straps if you don’t want strapless so much).

KittyPurry :  I can see this too… if you look at the beading at the bust area there is actually less material now then there was before – it’s as if they have deepened the V from a more conservative sweatheart shape.

Personally I think the dress looks fine though – try getting someone to take some photos for you from a bit further back with your arms natural/by your side.
