@hiroshymatetrastar:  seems fine to me, i’m doing a similar thing, but doing all of the top of the shoes in (mostly) clear crystal and the heel/platform in pearls.

at the end of the day it’s about what you’re happy with though.

@hiroshymatetrastar:  maybe it’s just the photos (idk) but they don’t seem that different in colour to me. Also on the big day, i doubt many of the photos will be focused on your feet ๐Ÿ˜› (unless you’re having a short dress?)

@hiroshymatetrastar:  i see, well, if you’re not happy and this is important to you, then you should certainly do what needs to be done to fix it!

I cant see any of your photos, but as a strasser I wanted to give you another opinion. I’ve strassed now over 10 pairs of shoes, for myself and for other people (once one sorority girl got them, they all had to!)

Sometimes, I will use two different colors on purpose. I’m trying to find pictures for you, but i’ve purposly but AB with non AB, a more sapphire color with a more royal blue color, and and my all time favourite, yellow (or jonquil as it’s called) with gold.

The two colors add dimension to the shoe when it’s all finished. They give a bit more definition to the sparkle, and can add to the whole essence of the shoe.

Having said that, I always do the middle size in the other color, so if I’m using 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm, i do the 3mm and have a dominant color and a secondary ones If you have the wrong color as your dominant color, and you are unhappy with it, by all means, take them apart and re-do it!

Also, because i cant see your photos, sometimes cheaper crystals look cheap, and won’t work with two tones. I also don’t think it works if the colors are TOO different, like light blue and dark blue.

AHHH i was able to watch your video! Ok, I can see that they are two different colors, for sure. It’s not bad, and it’s not the end of the world, unless you are strassing your shoes in lines the entire way, one size at a time. If you’re doing that, then you will get a look similar like this, but obviously not that drastic! These are all 3mm, lined up.

If you mix the two colors and sizes together at random spaces, you will lose that two tone look, and it will look more cohesive. So instead, strass like this, with 4 different sized stones

Sorry for the poor quality photos, those are the only two shoes I have right now, and I was trying to show. If what i’m saying doesn’t make sense, let me know and i’ll try to describe it better!
