I'm not pregnant yet... But my mom dreamt when she was pregnant with me that I would have red hair and freckles, and also dreamt what my name would be. I do NOT have red hair or freckles, but she did give me the name from the dream! :) And my husband is a redhead, so now we joke that she was dreaming of what her GRANDCHILDREN would look like!
I haven't dreamed about munchkin, but I did have a dream that some lady was yelling about a secret she had, and I kept asking her what it was, and she yelled "(Soonsoon)'s pregnant!". I woke up startled, grabbed a FRER, tested and sure enough...
Spooky.
My best friend called me the morning I took my pee test because she had a dream I was pregnant. I swear, we're actually sisters and we just don't know it yet.
Most of my pregnancy dreams are always scary, I always have these horrible dreams about accidentally leaving the baby at a restaurant or the store or something.
I am not nor have ever been pregnant, but I have dreamed about having a baby a lot in the past and each time she looks the same. And yes, she's always a girl. She has fair skin, big blue eyes like my husband, and looks almost bald because she has platinum blonde hair. When she smiles she has one dimple on her cheek. I can't remember anything else about her (name, clothes, etc), only her face. I would be very interested in seeing if my real life baby looks anything like my dream baby. :-)
@KatyElle: Yes, I have had lots of these. In my dreams I leave the baby in the tub or in his nursery for days and then am like, oh shoot! We have a baby! Scary.
I have had one dream about our baby, and it was actually right before I found out I was pregnant! It was a really short dream, or at least my memory of it is short anyways. I was cooking dinner and our little girl (we don't know the gender yet, so we'll see if my dream was accurate!) was running around in a little tutu princess outfit (probably because I'm totally drawn to that stuff, I think it's freaking adorable). DH walked in the door and she ran up to him yelling daddy and he picked her up. That was pretty much it, but it was super cute <3
I'm not pregnant (and have no children yet) but frequently dream of my future baby boy. His name is Jack (a name my FI and I have already agreed on IRL) and he's chubby and happy with big blue eyes and super light blonde hair. Such a cutie--I can't wait to meet him in real life!
I don't have kids, and don't plan on having any, but whenever someone in the family is expecting, I always have a dream about their kid, so I call them the next day and tell them, "it's a boy, with red hair." or something like that, 11 kids later, I've never been wrong...it's kinda weird, but whatever.
I've had multiple dreams about having my baby including one where my husband was the one who had the baby! haha. I don't really remember what they looked like though, but it has varied between little boys and girls, and sometimes they are babies that don't even need to be taken care of! Hahaha
Yes, I have had a few dreams. They're always really nice. He winds up looking a lot like my DH did as a baby. DH is having baby dreams too. It's almost disapointing to wake up and realize, oh, 4 1/2 months to go...
I have not dreamt of my baby yet, but I did have a dream on Saturday night that I got a BFP so here's to hoping!!
I dreamt that DD was a boy and could talk even though "he" was just a newborn. Needless to say, neither of those came true.
Oh yeah! Sometimes it's a girl, sometimes a boy (we're team green), but I'm always cuddling and holding the LO. Can't wait!!!
when I was pregnant with my daughter, I had a dream that she was a boy. When my sister had her son, he was the very same baby from my dreams. So weird!
Yeah, I had one dream where I forgot about the baby for several days, didn't feed it or anything, and I felt awful when I realized and I was sure it would die. Not very realistic, and I can't remember details as to what baby looked like or anything. But it was a boy, I know that much.
It wasn't me, but when I called my Mum to tell her I was pregnant, she told me "But I know - you told me last night." Yeah - she sees things that are going to happen.
I'm not pregnant, or TTC, but one of my BMs is expecting and I have dreams about her baby often! She just found out her little one is a boy, so I've been having many dreams about a tan little towheaded imp of a boy with her exact color eyes. I love it! :)
Knowing my luck, he'll probably come out dark haired, pale and with his dad's eyes, but whatever lol.
@Nona99: That is AWESOME! Love the consistency...
Im in the not pregnant and never have been camp, but I dream about being pregnant all the time. Boys, girls, and more often than not I'm giving birth. It used to freak me out, but now I'm starting to get clucky, it makes me a bit sad.
When FH was a baby, his mum got into a car crash with him and his sister in the car. She FORGOT to get him out of the car (but remembered his sister) and the panel beaters actually had to call her and say 'umm, I think you left your baby in the car!'
Your dream about leaving the baby reminded me of that lol.
@Lovemelovemyhorses: Oh wow, that's horrible! I would probably never tell my kid that in the future haha
@travellingfool: Yes, those too! Or my husband asks me to meet him somewhere (last time it was at a carnival, random) and then hours into the outing come to find out he has left our children at home by themselves and things prevent me from getting back to them. The last time in the dream my mind was racing by my body felt like it was moving underwater and I couldn't find the car. Bad dream!
Those are horribles dreams about forgetting about kids. A mom's worst nightmare, literally!
so far i've had a dream where LO was about 6-7 yrs old, and went and got dressed in a lil suit cuz we were gonna go see 'daddy at work' (my hubby has to wear suits to work)....then after we found out we were having a boy, i had a dream where LO was about 2 wks old and we were having a 'meet the baby' party and i brought LO downstairs to change his diaper and he turned out to be a she and i yelled that we had a daughter! and everyone crowded around and cried as if it was the day i delivered....lol and then the last baby dream i had was a few days ago, and all i remember of the dream LO was only a few days old, we were home, and i was placing him down on a blanket after giving him a bath, and i was just looking at him in the dream cuz he was so freaking adorable and had a head full of dark hair, and in the dream, i just couldn't believe he was real... :-)
9 wks left til my edd and i just cant wait! :-)
I'm not even pregnant, but I dream about my future babies ALL THE TIME. lol.
I don't have many dreams about my baby, but the most recurring one is that I'm not actually pregnant. I'm 28 weeks now, and very obviously showing, but in my dreams, I'm just getting out of shape and most of my weight gain is going to my belly. When my due date comes around, the doctors go "oh, the ultrasounds were wrong, you don't actually have a baby in there." Ugh.
@MamaHusky3: awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
@xstine515: hummmm...very interesting. That's a new one.
@PrncssDva: I dreamt of my baby last night! but it was a girl =/ This is the second dream i've had of HIM being a girl lol - no idea what that is supposed to mean.
@totheislnds: lol...not sure either
@totheislnds: i've read that it's pretty normal to dream of having the opposite gender of what your really having... :-)
@MamaHusky3: haha thank goodness because if he pops out a she I'll have lots of stuff to return, or she will have to learn to love footballs and dump trucks haha.

I had a dream of how my Munchkin looks. She was absolutely beautiful. Have you had any such dreams? Do they turn out looking like your dreams?
