I was sleeping soundly on Friday night, but I had this awful nightmare about my wedding! I woke up and was getting married THAT DAY. In a warehouse. With a convention going on. I was running around in this ugly white poofy dress and my bridesmaids had decided to "spruce up" their BM dresses with tacky embellishments. Everyone was freaking out and yelling and I was almost in tears because there was NOTHING set up. Not to mention, my FI came around the corner and saw me!
And then we started dancing down the aisle. Totally random. When I woke up I told him about our "awful" wedding and he couldn’t help but crack up at the idea of my BM’s bedazzling their own dresses…my ladies are uh, 22 to 25 years old!
Anybody else have a slumbering freak out about The Big Day? Obvoiusly I’ve forgotten a lot of the details, but it’s not like I could be on Weddingbee Saturday morning when my FI was in town.

I think I have wedding anxiety dreams all the time, though I don’t always remember all the details. I’ve been told that they are perfectly normal, and the elements usually involve not being prepared in one way or another.
They usually inspire me to check more items off our list!

When I first got engaged, I had a lot of wedding dreams. Most of them were really weird. But the worst (for me) was whend I dreamt of wedding cake and craved cake for 2 weeks. I don’t even really like cake!

I have only had one Wedding Day Nightmare, but I’ve had it about 4 times now. It always involves the Minister not showing up and our guests getting up and leaving. I know my Minister is going to think I’m crazy when I start to follow-up with him every week!

I had one (and keep in mind that i’m not engaged yet), where Boy drives to my house (in my car, weird) and then picks me up, and as we’re driving, proposes to me (doesn’t stop the car or anything), and then says we HAVE to get married tomorrow. I was like… but how will we invite people? what will I wear? and he was like, well, it has to be tomorrow, we’ll figure it out. So I was happy (that we’d be married) but sad (that virtually no one would be there). Glad that was a dream! I’d rather wait years for a proposal than to get that one 😉

I’ve had a few of these and they usually are related to the stage of planning I am working on at the time. When I was dress shopping and looking for a venue I had a dream that I showed up to the wedding with no dress and that the wedding was at a location where 10 other couples were getting married that day. Now I’m working on invitations and I had a dream that no one showed up because I forgot to send invitations. I’ve also been talking about the wedding in my sleep recently, lol.

I’ve had two wedding nightmares over the course of this past weekend. They were horrid! The first involved the beginning of the ceremony and I was waiting to walk in but the musicians played the wrong thing so we didn’t walk out. They said they didn’t know what we wanted, so my dad was like, oh that’s ok just play Ebony and Ivory, but I didn’t want that so I got mad and refused to walk in to that song. Then my groom comes down the aisle wearing his everyday clothes and says he didn’t want to put up with all of this mess and so he left. A friend of mine from high school who I haven’t talked to in years then got up and used my wedding to get married to some random guy. It was weird…
I don’t even remember the second…it was along the same lines though. Hopefully none of these things will actually happen!

These are the worse. I keep having them lately. A few nights ago I dreamt that I FORGOT to pack my wedding dress and had to find something to wear an hour before the wedding so we went to the salvation army. Horrible, horrible dream.
