Anyone had something like this happen? The profile is similar to this, but higher.
It was perfectly centered before, and now it’s crooked. It’s not something you’d notice unless you were looking very closely. My ring’s an elevated halo. Will it be hard to repair? Is it worth even repairing? I’m worried about the halo getting damaged.

I would take it to where you bought it to have them take a look, it just might mean one of the claws are loose and they can fix that up for you.

Do you have insurance on it? If you do, they will fix it. I would have it repaired for sure.

Take it in to the jeweler and get the stone adjusted back.
If it’s not sitting properly in the setting it could make the stone less stable in the setting and it could fall out easier.

If it moved, some sort of damage has been done, and that can make it more possible to lose you stone. I would stop wearing it, and have it checked out ASAP.

@jcent: This absolutely. Take it off and put it in a safe ring box, and then take it to a trusted jeweler to look at if. I doubt the damage is extensive, it may be a prong that needs redoing or retightening, which would not be worth an insurance claim, but if there is damage to the stone or something then you will have to look at an insurance claim.
Do not wear it until it is checked out & fixed!

Wow, thanks, ladies! I thought I was being anal and it wasn’t a big deal, so glad I came here first! Didn’t realize I could risk losing my stone. I’ll stop wearing it. I don’t think there’s insurance on it. Appreciate all the feedback!
