I ended up buying the dress I hated on the rack! Opinions please?

jellypigs:  That dress doesn’t look cheap at all. I think it is very elegant and timeless, and suits your figure very well. The only thing I’d change is removing the bow from the back.

I imagine that being a wedding photographer would make wedding planning that much more difficult! If it was me, I’d over think everything.

It looks really pretty on you. Will our opinions matter if we all say that it looks nice? I have a feeling you will continue to panic and are looking for an excuse (i.e. the thread saying the dress looks bad) to get rid of the dress.

Sorry if that comes off as being rude, but I don’t mean it to be.

I like the dress as it is and think it’s classic and not outdated at all.

Wow, that dress is gorgeous on you. I am also not a huge fan of satin but I love that dress!

It does not look cheap, not at all. I love the lace and satin combination, I think that’s what helps it from looking dated.  And it’s super flattering.

As another bride that had a Friday night meltdown laat night about my dress, I feel your pain! I think you dress is very pretty. What alterations are you planning to make? What type if wedding are you having? The dress does not look cheap at all!!

Ooh right choice for sure! The second dress is very pretty but does not compare to the way you look in the first dress!

And I don’t know, I guess you could go for what is trendy or what you love on the hanger, but it seems like a waste! Go for the one you feel the best in.

jellypigs:  I like the first dress so much better. Though I echo the PP get rid of the bow. That is so 1980 something.  Maybe add some bling or sparkle to it

I adore the bow on the back!

It reminds me of Kate Middleton’s gown, though not a literal interpretation.

I would think about removing the bow. I think might what is throwing you. And shortening he train. But the dress overall is stunning!!
