I got my dress at David's Bridal and they had me try on a strapless, corset type bra. I plan on buying that and wear it for my alteration fittings. I'm going to add some push up inserts for more shape. I'm also wearing brazillian lace undies, my something blue 
Those are pretty! I'll have to remember the site to get my undies :) I'm not wearing a bra so I don't have to worry about that.
with my dress, i can whatever unserwear i want and i just need a good strapless bra. i have a black bra, but i think i will buy a white one in case it peeks now and then.

I've just ordered it online as I couldn't find what I wanted in the shops today. I'm hoping that by ordering now (for a June wedding) I have plenty of time to try them on and return/exchange if needed.
My dress is strapless and has a very 50s shape (ballerina length, tulle skirt), and it's a light gold/milky coffee colour with lace.
I've had to buy a sample dress but it fits almost perfect. I need to go back with my correct underwear and shoes to try it on again at the end of April for a fitting. So I've been having fun deciding what to wear underneath!
The dress has corsertry in the bodice and free size hips, as I'm a pear shape this is great for me! And I'm not going to wear shapewear under it. I have decided on a longline bra as I love the retro look and like the idea that when I take my dress off for my brand new husband I still look old fashioned ;-) And I like a fuller brief than a thong so matching sexy shorts.
