Yeah, we actually went as far as purchasing a ring, and two-three weeks later I hated it. So then I was ringless until we found the one I have now. (: Poor SO handed the indecisive aspect pretty well. Now I want two wedding bands…

I was the same way. I was horrible but he eventually stopped listeing to me and found a ring I absolutly LOVE! So just step back at tis point and know he will get you the ring you love and it will be perfect.

@nattiejeanne:  yes. I sold the half carat diamond (it had a dangerous inclusion) and bought/stuck with the 1 carat moissy solitaire. I LOVE IT.

of course, i also have my proposal ring, which is a sapphire, and a floral cluster diamond ring. I like to switch them out!

It is a really hard decision to make… We went to four jewellers, where I tried on 40+ rings before deciding we could get the bits we liked from ring A and the shape of the diamond in ring B together with the band thickness of ring C  online for a fraction of what it was going to cost to be custom made!

I’m waiting delivery from FedEx for my ring from James Allen based in NY. I’m in Australia… I’ve had three nightmares about the ring. The first one, I dreamt we’d picked a purple centre diamond by mistake. The second I dreamt it was way too tight, despite me sending in my ring size and the latest was last night. I dreamt it was exactly as it was online, but I hated it. Like really hated it.

Hurry up, FedEx… The tension is killing me!

@nattiejeanne:  don’t worry, I’m the same! We’ve ordered 3 rings, returned two and got stuck with one we haven’t been able to return or sell yet. Despite all that, we’ve finally figured out what I want and he’s still happy to take me shopping this weekend to see if we can actually pick “the one”.

Thats why they want to marry us, because they get that we’re indecisive and they don’t mind 🙂

Totally! The first time we went ring shopping, we found a ring I loved. The second time, we let the salesperson talk us into a similar style, similar price and available immediately as opposed to waiting 3+ weeks for the other one to be custom made. Since I wasn’t 100%, FI put a deposit on the other ring only to hold it. I couldn’t sleep that night because I was thinking about the rings and by morning I had a little meltdown because I knew the ring was all wrong! FI was very patient and took me back to the store so we could order the original ring I’d fallen in love with instead. Such a relief that it all turned out ok and now I have the ring I love!!
