Honestly I feel like my everyday life is causing me to get nothing done as far as my wedding and I still have a test to study for that I have to take & pass no later than July!

The only real things I have done is:

I have my dress picking out: it is still being altered

I have my Bridal Party Selected

    I have my photographers booked.

    I have my venue Booked

    I have my shoes ;)

I have a tie for my groom

    I have my fascinator

I have talked to a DJ & to a cake decorator... still not booked them

I have Ideas for alot of things... I have purchased alot of things but nothing is still getting done.

DID i mention i am pretty much having a DIY wedding with less than 6 months to go....

Am i the only procrastinator?? What should I have done by now?

I think you need to allocate time and just get down and do it :) Youll feel good once your on a roll!

I feel your pain, trying to complete a master's degree, work full-time, and plan a budget wedding is no easy feat.

I have picked out my dress,

selected a cupcake maker and picked out cake designs,

    picked a venue,

selected a bridal party and started them dress shopping,

bought groom's suit and pants for groomsmen,

    started invites,

    started registering,

    started panning centerpieces,

    talked to catere- kinda secured..,

    secured MUA,

    Secured photographer and DJ...

    probably more...

My advice is just to order things from most important to least, what do you need most, to what won't you miss (table numbers, etc...) and just slowly chip away one thing at a time.

I get a lot done online so I can do it in between other things.

Let me know if you need any other advice/support, etc..

    You can do it!

I feel you, FutureMrs!  My wedding is a week after yours, and I have very littel done.  :(  Between graduate school and work, I just haven't had much time.  Fiance's in medical school.  We're both extremely busy...but I hope everything will fall into place soon!  I try not to worry about, but it's nagging me.

    Checked off:

    -sent STDs

    -booked venue

    -wedding dress

    -bridal party

    To do:

-everything else -- photographer, DJ, food, cake, attendant's clothing, invitations, flowers.

    Eeeeks!

All this to say, you're not alone!

ME TOO!!! Our wedding is July 10 and we still have a lot to do.

Don't feel bad. We STILL haven't sent out save-the-dates (doing it THIS week!)

Just make sure you book people who might not be available, such as:

    florist

    cake

    limo

    music for ceremony and reception?

    Bridal party have their attire?

Focus on those things next if you haven't done them yet because you need to get people lined up...

    And...what's your "fascinator"??

Don't worry, you'll get it all done! I'm in the same boat!

I'm the day before you and although I have a lot of the major things done I haven't done much in a month and I'm starting to get nervous!

We don't even have a final guest list b//c we're not sure our max for the space....I have to get moving on that, the tent/table rentals, cake and flowers!

I'm June 19th and I feel way behind!  I don't have flowers, cake, or ceremony musicians, I don't know what the floor plan is going to look like and my dress hasn't come in yet.  Oh and registering is insanely hard because my fiance has tons of opinions about everything so we can't get past water glasses.  But I have faith that it will all come together, these things always do.  Hang in there and one thing at a time!

what helped me was using theknot... they have a checklist where you can see what you need to do and you can check things as you do them.  i don't check it ALL the time, but every now and then when i feel like i'm behind or i don't know what to do next it helps me.

I have a state exam I wanted to take before the wedding but with the wedding planning, I get extremely distracted. So I decided to take it after the exam after the wedding. I know that might not be the case for you but try to take 4 hours to study. I also feel at times I don't have anything done. Take it one day at a time and ask for help. Good Luck! Wink

I took 5 days off in a row and have scaled back so many hours at work which is hurting somewhat financially (because my job is how we were funding the rest of our wedding) but I got so much done

Bridal attire- completely done the whole 9 got it all & love it all

    Bouquets and Boutineers-done

Invitations -printed & addressed but still need assembly

I have my Bridal Party Selected

    I have my photographers booked.

    I have my venues Booked

I have a tie for my groom & groomsmen

I have mine/ my bridesmaids & my daughters flower hair fascinator

Meet with the lady doing our cake.. booked & did a tasting

    Ceremony  & Reception Music-done

Centerpieces(all but 4 runners done, waiting assembly)

    Cermony Decor... done

    Guestbook-done

    Honeymoon-done

The only major things we have left to do...

    Find an Officiant

is find someone to video our wedding (we are gonna use a friend)

    Decide on a menu

Music Selection (huge headache involved with this lol sooo hard)

    Pick Fiances wedding band

    Pick my daughters dress

& do a few more very small things like printing Photo Share Cards, & assemble everything

& shop for wedding day attire and honeymoon attire

help my girls pick out some dresses(we doing little mismatched black dresses)

    do bridal party gifts

Thank you gifts for other special ppl like parents

decide on favors (if having them)

And we still have a few things left to buy

Our date is June 5th and it feels like I am constantly behind.

I have:  Our venues booked, a photographer, a dj, a dress that has been ordered but wont arrive for a while, we have an officiant

I need:  Flowers, a bakery, a finalized menu, invitations, a limo.  We still have no idea where the rehearsal will be held and the dinner and we still haven't started planning the honeymoon.

I did set up some meetings with florists and bakeries so that's a start.

When ever I start to feel like I am really falling behind on something I will set myself a deadline.  Like book a florist by the end of the week or even just meet with a florist by the end of the week.
